About us
Our unique friendship group is for those 50+ who have sadly lost a spouse or partner. Our goal is to provide supportive, positive and safe environment for our members to socialize and make new friends with others who have also experienced such a loss. Events include, a variety of cultural activities, along with dining to sporting events to trivia. Our events are exclusive for our members, only. However, at times we will plan events with another Meetup group that complements our goals. Once you become a member, detailed information for each event will be posted so please read "event description" carefully,

Volunteer Work at Gleaners Food Bank

I am going and I hope you'll join me. If anyone is looking for something to do, volunteering is always a good idea and might in return make you feel good.I tried to register the other day and it said it was full. Apparently there was a glitch. You must register first (follow instructions below) then let me know if you are joining us. Be sure to have the correct day, distribution center and time. If you have a problem registering, please let me know.

"Let’s get together to do some volunteer work at Gleaners Community Food Bank at the South Campus Distribution Center, in Taylor, MI.Volunteers assist with food packing projects. If you want to bring a guest, volunteers must be in 8th grade or older. There is a limit of 50 volunteers per shift.
