Every month, Women in AI Colorado gathers in Boulder, Northern Colorado and soon to be in Denver.
Designed specifically for women professionals, entrepreneurs, researchers to have a space free from dominant norms often found in shared spaces to learn, connect, uplift women, and be part of shaping the future of AI.

Description:
You don’t need to have it all organized before you begin. Bring one part of your work or life that feels scattered or repetitive. This learning lab will show you how to turn a brain dump into a starting point, then guide you as you begin building a system that works for you. This lab is for any woman who wants one part of her week to run smoother and has already spent some time working with an AI assistant.

You should be comfortable opening a chat, asking for what you need, and refining the result. We build from there. Bring a laptop and a free account with ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini.

What you’ll do
Identify one source of chaos you want to organize
Direct an AI to sort ideas and guide repeat work
Start building your own system, with coaches there to help you adapt it to the way you work

What you will walk away with:
- A clearer place to start
- The beginnings of a system you can keep refining
- A way to think about what AI should handle and what you want to keep for yourself
Instructor: Eleah Miner, AI systems architect and founder of Leala, who builds working AI systems for women solopreneurs.

Cost is free, supported by donation. Labs are open to every woman who registers. Donations cover instructors, coaches, facilities, and materials. $150 covers the full cost of a seat, and any amount helps keep the labs running. Give here: [Donation link]. Meet six Women Shaping AI in Northern Colorado

Every woman in this room is shaping how AI shows up in Northern Colorado, in her work, her family, and her community. This month, you’ll meet six of them.

You’ll pair up with another attendee, answer a question together, then rotate to a new partner when the bell rings. Each round brings a fresh question, starting easy and building toward the real stuff: what you’re proud of, what you’ve changed your mind about, and how AI is reshaping your work.

Before each switch, you’ll give your partner one word for what you noticed about her. By the end of the night, you’ll leave with six new connections and a handful of words other women chose to describe you.

No pitch required, and no AI experience needed. Whether you use AI every day or you’re still deciding what you think of it, you belong in this room. Curious and skeptical are both welcome.
What to expect: a short welcome, six rounds of conversation (about six minutes each), and a closing circle.

The Leadership Part of AI: Five Challenges, Five Tools, One Next Step

Join Women in AI Colorado on Thursday, November 19 for a working session with Ina Winterle.

Ina spent the summer interviewing 13 senior executives about how AI is showing up inside their organizations. The technology came up least. What came up constantly was leadership: how decisions get made, how expertise is shifting, how to bring people along, and how to lead when the ground keeps moving. Five challenges surfaced again and again, and Ina built practical solutions for each one.

We are starting with the solutions.
Ina will introduce all five. Then the room votes anonymously on which challenges land closest to home, and we take the top two or three and work them live. You will use worksheets, talk in pairs and small groups, and apply each tool to your own organization. The question we keep in front of us is what this looks like where you work, and what you could do differently right away.

The five challenges
- Strategy and execution moving at different speeds
- Expertise becoming a commodity
- Human and social change lagging behind the technical change
- The weight leaders carry when they are the ones deciding
- Culture and belonging under strain
One tool, as a preview
Inverted apprenticeship pairs an AI-fluent person with a deep domain expert for a week or two on one concrete project. The AI-fluent person brings speed. The expert brings judgment about the work itself. Neither one reports to the other, and both come out of it changed. Ina has tested the tools with leadership teams.

A clear name for your biggest AI leadership challenge, one tool matched to it, and one step you can take this week. The worksheets go home with you.

Ina Winterle is an executive coach and leadership researcher focused on the social side of the AI shift and sustainable high performance. Before founding Keys2Success-Coaching, she spent sixteen years at Google in Strategy & Operations, helping senior leaders turn direction into coordinated execution across complex, fast-moving organizations. Her current research, based on interviews with 13 senior executives, looks at the part of AI no one gets a manual for: how to lead the organization around the technology. Her style is practical, direct, and human.
