This fun after-hours series features successful women sharing their personal stories of accomplishment! The featured speaker will be LaToya Lacey, CPA, CFE.

LaToya is Vice President of Enterprise Risk Management & Insurance at The Estée Lauder Companies. Her journey began on the South Side of Chicago, where she was raised by hardworking parents who instilled the values of education, perseverance, and self-belief. As a teenage mother, she balanced work, college, and parenthood while temporarily relying on government assistance so she could build a future without placing additional burdens on her family. As the first person in her family to attend university, she learned to forge her own path, navigating internships, corporate culture, and leadership opportunities as a natural introvert.

A pivotal turning point came after her divorce. After spending years in a life that no longer felt authentic, she made the decision to reclaim her voice, redefine her future, and pursue a career and life aligned with her true potential.

Today, LaToya is a Fortune 500 executive at The Estée Lauder Companies. Her career has included leadership roles with global organizations including Diageo and Walmart, an international assignment in London, and work across many countries, with a particular focus on South America and Africa. Once an introvert who preferred to stay behind the scenes, she is now a sought-after speaker on leadership, professional development, and risk management, with speaking engagements spanning both the U.S. and international audiences. Her story is a testament to the power of resilience, authenticity, and finding the courage to create a life that reflects who you truly are.
