About us
Welcome to the Worcester Young(ish) Fine(ish) Dining Club.
I’ve started this group for like minded people who would like to explore and experience the wide range of culinary delights that Worcester and the surrounding area has to offer. Whether you’re looking to try out new cuisines or just meet new people whilst enjoying a delicious (hopefully) meal, this is the group for you.
Members must be aged 20 – 55, and please ensure that you are identifiable from your profile picture. We will try places that don’t require a deposit and keep the numbers to 6 – 8 people per event. But please only join an event if you are definitely planning on going.
I’ll be looking at 2 events a month to start things off, possibly expanding if this group takes off.
I’m open to suggestions and ideas on where to go and what to try, whether it’s Greek food, Italian, Indian, Chinese, British, Thai, etc etc, if it’s tasty we’ll eat it !
Be there or be hungry!
Upcoming events:
Thursday 13th August - The Danesbury Steak Night (a la carte menu also available).
Wednesday 26th August - Oh Burger! A chance to try Worcester's best burgers (IMO) at Hanbao.
Wednesday 9th September - It's All Greek To Me! A visit to Island in Broad Street.
More events coming soon!
Recommended Meetup groups in Worcestershire - Malvern Hills Social Walks.
A very friendly bunch of all ages who regularly enjoy the stunning scenery, landscapes and trails of the Malven Hills and surrounding countryside. Plus the odd cafe or pub stop too.
Club Rules
Members must be aged 55 or younger, any member that is obviously aged over 55 will be removed from the group. I apologise if this sounds harsh, but this group was set up to give those younger a chance to meet new people and try Worcestershire’s best eateries.
There are dining groups in the local area that are exclusively for people aged 50 or over, but not so for those younger, hence the creation of this group.
This is a dining club not a drinking club, participants must attend events to eat food and not just drink. Members who get drunk and are deliberately offensive will be removed from the group.
This is not a walk, pub crawl or social event in which you can put your name down to attend and if you didn’t show up there would be no consequences. Therefore, no-shows will be removed from the group unless there is a valid acceptable reason for the absence, for example if you were struck by lightning on the way to the event.
These rules are due to limited spaces and the need to book reservations, and for the consideration of other members and the establishments that we will be attending.
