Ciao, for the first of October's events I thought we would try Impasto in St Swithin's Street. A highly rated Italian restaurant in the heart of Worcester's city centre, Impasto serve up a wide choice of delicious freshly made pasta dishes and pizzas that are cooked in their traditional clay oven. Italian tapas, dirty fries and other sides compliment the menu, followed by a mouth watering selection of Italian themed desserts.
Coffee and Cannoli for afters is also an option if you don't fancy a full dessert at the end of the night.

A cosy little restaurant with seating on the ground floor and downstairs, Impasto opened its doors in early 2021 and has since been regarded as one of the best, if not the best Italian restaurant in Worcester. Their pasta is homemade and their pizzas are prepared the Neapolitan way in a traditional wood fired clay oven, for a slice of Naples right here in Worcester.

So come and join me on an early Autumn night for some fantastic Italian food and good company.

Starting at 6:30pm, this is because from Tuesday to Thursday till 7pm all of their pizzas are only £14 each. Valore ridicolo for what is probably the best pizza in Worcester.

Club Rules

Members must be aged 55 or younger, any member that is obviously aged over 55 will be removed from the group. I apologise if this sounds harsh, but this group was set up to give those younger a chance to meet new people and try Worcestershire’s best eateries.
There are dining groups in the local area that are exclusively for people aged 50 or over, but not so for those younger, hence the creation of this group.

Depending on the event, attendee and waitlist numbers, I may message you before the restaurant reservation is made to confirm your attendance, and afterwards with the reservation name and/or reference. As you can imagine, communication is key when organising such events.
Therefore if I do message you before the event to confirm your attendance I will need a reply in a timely fashion otherwise you may be removed.
This is a social group on a social website with social events, if you can't be social and reply to messages, even if it's just a thumbs up for acknowledgment, then you will be removed.
Time wasters, no-shows, fake profiles, scam accounts etc etc, will not be tolerated and will be removed and banned from the group.

This is not a dating club, it's a dining club and a fine(ish) one at that! If however romantic relationships do flourish mutually within members then that is obviously fine. BUT unwanted and inappropriate communication towards other members will not be tolerated both during and outside events.
I will not tolerate those who overstep social boundaries and make other members feel uncomfortable, they will probably be removed.

These rules are due to limited spaces and the need to book reservations, but most importantly for the consideration of other members and the establishments that we will be attending.

The culinary world tour continues, from Greece to Japan then Italy, from where we steer our sails south west across the Mediterranean Sea to the shores of Morocco. All without leaving Worcester city centre!

Little Marrakesh, where decades of home style culinary traditions have been passed down to the owner and head chef Zara. Her knowledge, passion and experience has graced Worcester with authentic and exquisite North African, Moroccan and Mediterranean cuisine.

Opening their doors in October last year and currently rated 4.9 on Tripadvisor and 4.9 on Google, Zara and co-owner Johnny's cosy and welcoming restaurant has quickly established itself as one of Worcester's finest dining experiences.

Little Marrakesh's mouth watering menu has arranged an authentic array of delicious dishes and desserts for us to discover. Recipes all originating from traditional Moroccan home cooking.

The classic British Sunday Roast, you can't beat it, but you can eat it! And we shall at the Bear and Ragged Staff in Bransford.

Mains include Beef, Lamb, Chicken, Pork Belly and a Nut Roast for the vegans among us. All finished with a classic dessert menu, all of which I'm pretty sure are homemade.
Not a carvery, I wouldn't subject my members to such an ordeal, each dish is cooked fresh with high quality locally sourced ingredients.
The Bear is not a chain pub, it is fully independantly owned and operated, and they even allow well behaved dogs.

Whilst being nestled away in the Worcestershire countryside, the Bear is only an easy 10 minute drive from Junction 7 of the M5.

I’ve eaten here twice already this year, both times were excellent. But I’ve not tried their Sunday menu, which I’ve heard is fantastic, so I thought we could give it a go.

So join me for what may be the best Sunday lunch in all of Worcestershire, at the Bear and Ragged Staff in Bransford.
