What we’re about

Have you had a hard time with math? Do find yourself spending time to decode symbols and translating them into simple words you can understand? Do you find that after solving problems you forget the steps? Then you have come to the right place.
This is a study group which is starting a pilot to hopefully help with collaborating with each other.
This group is a very short two week study group for Calculus II. It will keep you accountable and it is designed for students who want a structured, collaborative way to study without long time commitments. Sessions are short (30 minutes) and not tutored based. We would like to test structure and flow of the group to see how it can work out for members. We work together to read material, identify symbols, theorems, and rules, translate dense language into simpler terms, and organize how to approach problems to accomplish study goals.

WHAT THIS GROUP IS

  • A place to study together with structure
  • Focused on reading material, identifying symbols, theorems, and rules
  • Created to help members organize how to approach problems
  • Collaborative and participation-based where members put there minds together and make studying progressive
  • A two week pilot group that will meet 3 times Mon, Tues, Wed for 30 mins twice a day

WHAT THIS GROUP IS NOT

  • This is not tutoring
  • We do not provide answers or full solutions
  • Sessions are not open Q&A

The goal is to move efficiently, covering what we are reviewing.

***

HOW SESSIONS WORK

  • Everyone works on the same material
  • We read, decode, and translate material using knowledge and ai tools
  • We focus on process and understanding, and setting up study material that can help going forward to solve the problems on your own time
  • Participation and collaboration are expected

Not knowing something is okay — effort and engagement matter most.

***

QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS

Because sessions are short and structured, they’re not designed for questions.
Clarity may come through group work, AI tools, or outside resources such as tutors or instructors.
