This meetup is designed for people who want to connect beyond the usual game table and have conversations that are a little more thoughtful than everyday small talk, while still keeping the atmosphere light, social, and welcoming. There is no expectation to share anything overly personal or serious. This is not a support group or group therapy. Come as you are, grab something to eat or drink, meet some new people, and participate at whatever level feels comfortable. Nothing overly strategic or intense, just something fun to get everyone talking, laughing, and comfortable with one another. From there, we’ll transition into an open roundtable discussion with questions designed to be interesting, slightly provocative, and relatable without turning the morning into a political debate. Some of our discussion questions may include: * Is being “financially responsible” getting harder, or are people simply spending too much? * At what point does being frugal become cheap? * Should friends with very different incomes still split everything 50/50? * Is homeownership still a realistic goal, or is renting becoming the smarter lifestyle choice? * How much money does someone actually need to feel financially secure today? There are no right or wrong answers. The goal is simply to hear different perspectives, challenge a few assumptions, and enjoy a thoughtful conversation with people you might not otherwise meet.
