Deep Work - Ubuntu

Deep Work - Ubuntu

Fri, Jul 31, 3:00 AM
From Deep Work 🌿
4.9

**THEME** At this Deep Work event we'll explore **Ubuntu — the art of operating as one.** UBUNTU invites us beyond the boundaries of 'me' and into a deeper current, where many **become a single organism**: anticipating one another, moving in concert, and **creating together what no one could alone.** **TIMING** \*Please arrive by 1:00PM for a 1:15PM start. The event will conclude at 2:45PM. **SETUP** You will be seated in small groups of about 5 people. We encourage you to sit with people that you don't yet know. :) **TICKETS** Tickets are $15. We're happy to provide full refunds for cancellations received with 48+ hours notice. **PROGRAM** Through carefully selected quotes and interactive discussions, we will: * **Explore** the hidden assumption that we succeed or fail alone, and notice the moments at work where 'we' quietly disappears * **Share stories, laughter and insights** of moments of belonging—times a team carried us, or we carried someone else—and what they taught us about being human together * **Create casual and fun art** that captures connection, belonging, and the threads that bind us to one another * **Develop practical ideas** to bring more 'we' into our teams—through how we listen, share, and show up for one another Come ready to feel what it's like when 'me' gives way to 'we'—when a group moves like a single living organism. You'll **leave inspired to bring that same flow into your own teams, equipped with fresh perspectives on trust, anticipation, and the quiet art of moving as one.** **PARKING** 2P parking is available directly adjacent to the venue. [Use this link to navigate there.](https://share.google/LErJ1bb0KTUMZfM43) There is also underground parking available directly opposite the venue.

After a break, We are back! Excited to meet new faces and kick-start more conversations. The objective of this event is to get comfortable with the idea of talking to strangers. You are free to talk, or just observe. Networking is critical for success here in Australia, and if not now - when? There is no agenda to this and anyone is welcome. Just come along and join a random bunch of strangers for a walk in the city. As this is a test run, we'll go by the flow after meeting at 300 Flinders St. Please arrive on time at the location as we may move from the start. As it's a short event, latecomers are not entertained. I will update the live location in the comments at 12.20 pm We may move/walk 10 mins after the beginning of the event. Follow us with the live location that I share in the comments Note : Please update your RSVP if you are unable to make it. We are all taking time of our busy schedule to make this happen.
