Japanese × English Card Game Exchange｜日英ゲーム交流会

Let’s practise Japanese and English through games, laughter and conversation. We’ll start with **The Game of Things**, a fun party game where everyone answers silly or interesting prompts, then guesses who wrote each answer. Japanese learners will try to use Japanese, and English learners will try to use English. Don’t worry about making mistakes — the goal is to have fun, meet people and use the language naturally. **Good to know** * Maximum 8 people * Different language levels are welcome * No need to know the game * Relaxed and friendly atmosphere **Location:** The Exchange, Darling Square After the game, anyone who feels like continuing can join us to explore a dessert place nearby. The Collage Circle — Create. Reflect. Connect.

A space to slow down, create, and reconnect with yourself. Through the simple act of flipping through magazines, cutting out images and words that resonate, and assembling them into personal collages, we explore our stories, emotions, dreams, and inner worlds. No artistic experience is needed—just curiosity. Together we’ll use collage as a tool for self-expression, reflection, journaling, and healing, creating a mindful break from the noise of our fast-paced, technology-driven lives. We’ll gather around a table with magazines, scissors, paper, and glue, and simply start exploring. Browse through the magazines, cut out any images, words, colours, or textures that catch your attention or resonate with you, then arrange them into a collage that feels meaningful to you. There are no prompts, no right or wrong way to do it, and no artistic experience is needed. This is an inward journey—a chance to slow down, work with your hands, and enjoy a peaceful, creative space away from the constant noise of everyday life. At the end, anyone who would like to share their collage or talk about their experience is warmly invited to, but there’s absolutely no pressure. You’re welcome to simply create, reflect, and enjoy the process.

Monday Board Games!

Where: We can be found in the dining area to the left of the entrance, behind the bar. Make sure to come in and say hi when you get there! Everyone is super friendly and can point you towards a moderator if you are new. When: From 6:30 pm till 10:30 pm every Monday Ages: 18+ Price: $6 to be paid by card We are a relaxed group of gamers who meet to play a few games and have a laugh. Mondays are a time to play any game you feel like. We are a friendly community and new people are welcome all the time! If you don't have a game to play then there is sure to be someone available to teach you. Make sure to go up to a table and introduce yourself, we are all really friendly. Looking forward to seeing you all at an event soon! **Venue Support Policy** Our board game nights are hosted by a food and drink venue that generously provides us with space each week and allows us to store our games. In return, we have an agreement to support the venue by purchasing food and drinks on site. To respect this agreement and ensure we can continue using the space, **outside food and drink are strictly not permitted at our events**. We ask all participants to please support the venue instead when attending. Thank you for helping us maintain a positive relationship with the venue and keep the group running.

Bondi Board Games - ECBG Friday Meetup

We are ECBG, the Eastern Community Boardgame Group and we meet every Friday at 7pm. Come join us to experience lots of fun with board games, card games, social deduction games and more! We're a friendly group with a diverse group of attendees and welcome everyone to participate. Feel free to come along whether you're a seasoned veteran or just want to try out the hobby. We have lots of people that bring games along and they're all happy to teach games to new players. Bring your own games if you like too, announce the game you wish to run and you'll find players within our group. If you're new, don't worry about lack of numbers in prior attendance lists, we typically have 20-35 players each week. Attendance at our meetups is free, but Easts Club do require you to sign in to enter the club so valid ID is required. Although optional, if you start to attend our free events regularly, you may wish to consider joining Easts as a member in which case there is a small per year membership fee (under $10) to Easts and comes with perks and discounts. You can inquire further on this with Easts direct as you enter the club. We generally meet in the auditorium area next to Artie's Bar on Level 1. Sometimes when there is an event on, we might be in Artie's Bar itself instead. Club staff should be able to direct you to us if you're lost. Just ask where the Free Board Gaming Group is located known as ECBG. Note there is a smaller project group that operate within Easts on a Friday night as well, that charge an attendance fee so be clear you're looking for the free community boardgames group ECBG and you'll find us. Games Night in Maroubra at First Games

First Games Maroubra is situated in the heart of Maroubra, above Lovely Dogs and next to Mortgage Choice (cnr Boyce and Anzac Parade). Free parking and great buses. FREE for first-timers, kids, NDIS (and their carers) ... $5 for everyone else. There are always people in attendance, even if they haven't RSVP'd here. We were only closed once last year and that was Xmas to NY week. There is a games library and many of us also bring our own games too. There are lots of food places all around the area. Looking forward to seeing you there.

Board Games in a Bar. Someone Had To

The Art Syndicate's weekly games night has been running for over two years. The regulars keep coming back. That's the whole story, really. Come as you are. **If you've got $10 to spend at the bar, that's what keeps the collection growing**. A wine, a beer, something non-alcoholic, and you're set for the night. **If money's tight, just show up. We'd rather have you in the room.** **External food is welcome.** For the after-work crowd, we often end up eating together anyway. Lisa and Saxon know the collection inside out.
