Western Classics Book Club social

A social for those who come along to the Western Classics Book Club. There is no set book to discuss. People are encouraged to bring their literary heads along for uplifting discussion and witty repartee. Also, do bring along a book to swap! Although meeting at the usual place (The Shakespeare Hotel, 200 Devonshire Street, Surry Hills) we will be meeting in one of the smaller rooms on the same floor. Look for the sign! Hi chiccies, for our September lunch, I've booked the Delta Rue restaurant at the Sofitel in the city. Inspired by Yum Cha, expect a share-style spread from dumplings to prawn toast, crispy pork belly, noodles, unlimited prawn crackers and more. Complemented by 90 minutes of bottomless classics including wines, highballs and ice-cold Tiger, Heineken and Tsingtao beers. $99 per person + $5. Cash is always the best. I've made it for 7 people for a more intimate gathering this time and to avoid the 10% gratuity.
