Volleyball Social Games - Intermediate (UNIMELB)

**[[WHAT]]** This session is for social volleyball games where there will be 8 teams of 6 per court across 3 courts. Please arrive on time as there will warm-up time provided for 20-25 minutes at 1 PM while the hosts set up the nets. Games will be played to 15 points, the session will be organised as a 'king-of-the-court' session with a high, middle, and low court. Players will move up and down the courts as their team wins or loses. **[[WHO]]** The session is intended for social volleyball players at the intermediate level. Players should: * Understand basic volleyball rules (3 touches, foot faults, etc.) * Call for the ball when playing and communicate well * Ready to learn (or already know) 5-1 system * Efficient in passing/hitting/setting/serving * Have minimal unforced errors (missed serves, etc..) * Have control over their play around the net and centre line If you are uncomfortable with the base fundamentals, we recommend coming to our beginner training sessions on Friday 6-9PM or Saturday 2-5PM. **[[HOW MUCH]]** $21 card payment will be collected on the day via square (EFTPOS) payment. Payments will be collected prior to game play during warm up. **[[WHEN]]** Sunday afternoon from 1 PM- 4 PM. However, feel free to come early and stretch as Unimelb Sport is open earlier. **Last minute dropouts and no-shows will have a zero-tolerance policy going forward.** All players are expected to update their RSVP at least 24 hours in advance if they are unable to attend. Welcome to Melbourne Volleyball Academy! 🤗 **[[WHAT]]** This session will be broken into 2 halves, 1st half is training and the 2nd half is games. Please arrive on time as we start exactly at 2 PM. **[[WHO]]** The training is intended for social volleyball players who are beginners or have no experience playing. If you are an 'advanced' player and would like to work on fundamentals, you are more than welcome to join. We also have training and game sessions at our Pascoe Vale location on Friday evenings. **[[HOW MUCH]]** $24 payment will be collected via square reader on the day of the session. **[[WHEN]]** The stadium is booked for 2 PM- 5 PM. Afternoon at the Melbourne Museum & Coffee and Conversation

Join me for an easy going afternoon exploring and learning together at the Melbourne Museum. We'll have time to chat and meet new friends as we wind our way through the Melbourne Story, the living Forest Gallery and the dramatic Dinosaur Walk. We'll immerse ourselves in the newest exhibition, Our Wondrous Planet, a multisensory gallery where ecosystems and wildlife reveal the incredible connections of life on Earth, with large-scale projections, hands-on interactives, and stories bringing together First Peoples knowledge with modern science. We'll finish up at the Museum Market Cafe to enjoy a coffee and conversations together and share the highlights of our visit. This is our monthly meetup where we hang out and chat about investing. There's no fixed format, we just meet with like-minded individuals to discuss investing strategies and stock picks, at a bar or cafe. All levels of experience welcome. Second Friday of the month. It's our first attempt at trivia at Jamsheed Wines in Thornbury. Hidden away in Albert Street, just around the corner from Dundas you'll find Jamsheed behind a big wooden fence. It's a fully functioning winery that strangely does trivia. Don't think you know much trivia? You don't need all the answers, only a few. Join one of our tables for a fun night with old friends or new. A stress free relaxed night with some locals. There's trivia, food and a few drinks if that's your thing. We don't bite. Can't decide?
