**Visit some of Sydney’s best small bars while discovering amazing street art with an expert.** CURRENT CONFIRMED ATTENDEES (incl. outside Meetup): 4 Perfect for people new to town, solo travellers, couples, friends, non-drinkers, locals, visitors – anyone who wants a fun & unique afternoon or evening out. Come with us as we explore some of Sydney’s best small bars with a fun group. Over 3 hours, your expert host will take you to 3 different bars, including ones that only locals know about. As we explore, you’ll learn about street art & see murals by some of Australia’s most famous and talented artists. On Saturday afternoon, we'll be exploring some of Sydney’s best bars around Newtown and Enmore Road (recently voted as one of the coolest streets in the world). After the tour, we’ll provide you with a map link to all the bars and places visited throughout the tour, plus some extra spots to check out. Note this isn't a "pub crawl" with hundreds of people - we go to quality small bars that locals drink at (no sticky floors and no cheap shots). The maximum group size is 12 people, so it is perfect for solo travellers and people new to Sydney. The average age of guests is from mid-20s to mid-40s, but everyone over 18 is welcome. **What we'll provide:** * A welcome drink at the first bar (beer or wine only) * Reservations at 3 small or hidden bars * Group photos * Map with recommendations **Prices:** * Normally: $65 * Meetup members: $55 Check out photos of previous experiences on Instagram at @localsaucetours **Who's your host?** Your hosts will be one of the Local Sauce Tours team. We're all well-versed in Sydney's nightlife and all spend far too much time hunting out the best bars in Sydney, so trust us, we've done our research for this experience. **Please note:** Register here and book on our website [https://localsaucetours.com.au/tour/secret-bar-crawl/.](https://localsaucetours.com.au/tour/secret-bar-crawl/) Message Justin for the promo code to get $10 off before booking.

All snacks are street foods that represent different parts of China and are designed to be eaten on the move. Vegetarians and vegans are sorted too. This tour has a strong focus on uncovering Sydney's long connection with China, and the contributions Chinese-Australians have made to the community. 2026 DRONE SHOW, VIVID WALK & 50% off WINGS, RIBS, DRINKS!!!

2026 DRONE SHOW, VIVID WALK & 50% off WINGS, RIBS, DRINKS!!!

Mon, Jun 1, 7:50 AM
From WE HIKE. WE WALK... to the BAR. Social Sessions in Sydney
4.9

**12 Buffalo Wings and a Pint of beer for $15? Yup. Read on...** VIVID is back, and the drone show should be cool! *(Well, let's be honest, the drone show should be "fixed" as our first VIVID walk was a fizzer and some were falling into the water as the show had technical difficulties!)* But it's great to do VIVID on a Monday - one of the least crowded days of the week... and we'll finish at my local pub as Monday's offer half-priced wings, ribs, and drinks (optional, as you may want to get home). **THE HIKE.** Let's meet at Paragon Hotel down at Circular Quay. Let's chat in whatsapp on the day so you can find me from **545pm**. We'll see the lights go on at 6pm on the dot and *see Customs House, the MCA, Syd Opera House, etc... all the way to Barangaroo, King St Wharf, and the drone show starts at 730pm finishing at 740pm. It will be crowded and hard to keep the group together, so make your own way to Sporting Globe by 4Pines. I'll already be at the table.* **Sporting Globe is my local pub, so I'll grab a table... 50% off wings, ribs, selected pints, and house wine. What a deal!!! 24 wings should be like $22, so if everybody brings $11 cash, I'll order a bunch of wings / flavours at 745pm - they'll be on the table as you arrive at the pub - just make sure everybody gets their 12 - it's def enough (if you want wings, that is). Last, I have a furtherr 20% off VIP Card - get it from me before you order at the bar - that's how I got 12 wings and a Pint for $15!!!** So we get to the drone show on time, I'll move at about 3.5kms per hour - it's up to you to keep up. I'll post my location in live Google Maps, and all hikers must join our **[WHATSAPP GROUP HERE](https://chat.whatsapp.com/C2nbnKJ5WJo5aenEREmOFB)** (please note, I'll keep this whatsapp for the week after hike(s), so *exit it / silence it* is my advice once you complete your hike - or use it to see other hikers' cool pics). 4kms per hour is pretty slow so we can take pics, chat, laugh, and feel free to bring a roadie drrink if you fancy... Again, it's up to you to keep the pace and not get lost. ***AN AD FROM THE MARKETING DEPARTMENT.*** ***JUNE!!! Here's what's on in We Hike... to the Bar:*** *Monday, 1 June - [VIVID WALK, DRONE SHOW, 50% OFF WINGS, DRINKS!](https://www.meetup.com/hikewalktothebar/events/314952719/)* *Saturday, 6 June – [Macmasters Beach to Killcare, Hardy’s Hideaway. My favourite hike!!!](https://www.meetup.com/hikewalktothebar/events/314873258/)* *Sunday, 7 June – [Woy Woy to Patonga Beach / The Boathouse](https://www.meetup.com/hikewalktothebar/events/314873444/) – such a pretty session.* *Saturday, 13 June – [Royal National Park Figure 8 Pool!](https://www.meetup.com/hikewalktothebar/events/314972877/) This is a 10/10 hike.* *Sunday, 14 June – [We Hike… to the Australia v Turkey World Cup Opener!!!](https://www.meetup.com/hikewalktothebar/events/314175185/)* *Saturday, 20 June – [MJ’s Bday & Winter Pub Crawl!](https://www.meetup.com/hikewalktothebar/events/314958235/)* **THE RULES.** a) Be on time. Honour your RSVP... or ban is likely. b) $10 Cash or PayID gratuity. c) Bring good energy, laughs, and... keep up with the pace! See you for a fun one. MJ
