Online Spanish Bilingual SF Toastmasters Weekly Meeting

During the Shelter in Place, we will be celebrating meetings through Zoom. You can submit your request to attend here or on our website. Join us every Thursday for this unique Toastmasters meeting in two languages! Every meeting is two meetings in one: an English segment, followed by a Spanish segment. Each segment is approximately 30-45 minutes, or 90 minutes total, adjourning promptly at 8:00pm. Each segment includes: * 1-2 prepared speeches (5-7 minutes) * Formal speech evaluations (2-3 minutes) * Impromptu speaking opportunities (Table Topics, 2-3 minutes) * Reports: Grammarian, Ah Counter, Timer (1-3 minutes) * After meetings, many of us go to a nearby restaurant for food and drinks. Take Time to Write at Cafenated Coffee

Let's meet up to write on Sunday at the Cafenated Coffee Company in north Berkeley. Anyone who writes is welcome! We'll be inside of Cafenated, and I'll have a sign saying "East Bay Time to Write". We'll write in two 50-minute blocks, with breaks in between and after. Come find us between 10:00 and 10:30 to get set up in time for our first one at 10:30. Schedule: 10:00 - arrive, get drinks, chat 10:30 - first focused writing block 11:20 - break 11:30 - second writing block 12:20 - finish, optionally hang out About the location: There will be WiFi and some (limited) outlets. We'll be indoors, but they typically leaves the doors open so that the space is well-ventilated. The coffee shop offers coffee, tea, bottled drinks, and typically some pastries and cooked food. Please buy something to support them! About the group: Anyone who writes is welcome -- novelists, playwrights, academics, journalers. This isn't a critique group, and there's no pressure to share your work. We're here for camaraderie, moral support, and friendly peer pressure, so you can focus on taking time to do what you love to do.
