**On Sunday 31st May, we're hugely excited to be heading to Kew Gardens for another wild afternoon of social fun.** But this isn't just a leisurely stroll through one of the world’s most beautiful gardens - we'll also be adding a dash of fun and friendly competition with one of our signature photo hunts. If you’ve never done one before, it's like a scavenger hunt, but with rare plants, cryptic clues, and playful photo challenges designed to test your creativity and teamwork. Once the clock starts, you’ll have around 2.5 hours to explore the gardens and complete as many weird and wonderful tasks as you can - all while competing against other teams for a shot at glory (and prizes). And when the time’s up, we’ll regroup at a nearby pub to share stories, tally up the scores and crown the champions of the day. And best of all, whilst standard weekend entry to Kew is normally £28, we’ve managed to secure an amazing deal... meaning this **entire afternoon of awe-inspiring nature and friendly competition is just £5.95pp!** Spaces are limited and always fill up fast and so if you're keen to join, RSVP soon to lock in your spot. **\- \- \- \- \- \- \- \- \- \- \- \- \- \- \- \- \- \- \- \- \- \- \- \- \-** **WHERE/WHEN** Venue: Kew War Memorial, 17 Kew Green, Richmond TW9 3AA ([https://maps.app.goo.gl/rejGdyN2mTDxpxUh9](https://maps.app.goo.gl/rejGdyN2mTDxpxUh9)) Closest Tube stations: Kew Gardens (15 min walk) Start Time - 1:30pm Finish time: 5:00pm \- \- \- \- \- \- \- \- \- \- \- \- \- \- \- \- \- \- \- \- \- \- \- \- \- **JOIN THE COMMUNITY** Set up in November 2021, the project was set up to help 20s and 30s in London meet, connect and hopefully build lifelong friendships. To help make this happen, we also host all kinds of events from free social walks, games evenings, day trips, social events, activity nights to picnics. Frequently asked questions

Meetup connects people with shared interests through local or online events. You can discover groups in your community and participate in activities that interest you, like community gardening.

Community garden meetups are groups where gardening enthusiasts meet to cultivate green spaces together, share knowledge, and enjoy the outdoors. It's a chance to learn, collaborate, and connect.

You can search for gardening groups on Meetup by selecting your location as London and choosing gardening as your interest. This will show you available events and meetups nearby.

Yes, you can join as many groups as you like! Meetup allows you to participate in various communities, so feel free to join multiple gardening groups and explore different gardening experiences across London.

You are not required to attend every event. Meetup is flexible, allowing you to join activities that fit your schedule. Enjoy gardening meetups when you have time without commitment pressure.

Absolutely! Many community gardening events welcome beginners. These meetups offer a friendly place to learn gardening basics from more experienced members while enjoying the social aspect.

Having landscaping or gardening skills can be beneficial, but they are not necessary. Community garden meetups are inclusive to all skill levels, inviting novices and seasoned gardeners alike.

It's best to check with the meeting organizer. In some meetups, bringing your own seeds or plants is encouraged, while others may have plans to provide all materials needed for the event.

Meetup itself does not organize events. It provides the platform for group organizers to arrange their own events, so the quality and frequency depend on the hosts in the London community.

This varies by meetup. Some may offer family-friendly events, while others might be adults-only. Read the event description or contact the organizer to confirm if children are welcome.

While many meetups are free, some may have fees for materials or venue booking. Review the event details on Meetup for any costs and what they include before RSVPing.

While engaging with people through activities increases your chances of meeting like-minded individuals, it may take time. Participate actively to enhance your community experience.

Not all interests have active groups in every location. In London, availability of community gardens depends on existing groups and events scheduled by organizers in different areas.

Meetup focuses on group activities, not one-on-one coaching. However, by joining groups, you might find members who can offer advice and guidance in a community setting.

Event frequency can vary depending on the organizer and group size. Some groups may meet frequently, while others schedule events less often due to availability or seasonality.
