Join our weekly Walthamstow Meetups and play some games with us! **💜Everybody Welcome:** We meet up every week to play a bunch of modern board games, card games and party games in pubs. If you would like to get involved, RSVP to the event. You can bring games with you if you like, although not a requirement. 🌱**Something For Everyone:** Whether you're a seasoned board game veteran or just starting out, you're welcome. No previous experience necessary, we go through the rules before playing. We play a range of games, from lighter card and party games to epic strategies. **📌Where:** We meet at the **The Village Club** in Walthamstow, which is a 10 minute walk from Walthamstow Central underground station.. When you arrive please press the buzzer to gain entry. Just say you are joining the board game group. Come say hello and the event hosts will get you settled in. The Village Club is a member's club but you can attend our board game evening without becoming a member. As the space will stay open for the use of our group the expectation is that you will buy a drink or two to cover the cost of the bar staff. Day trip by coach - Wrest Park House & Gardens! (only £27 each)

Come along on Saturday 18th July for a coach trip to Wrest Park House & Gardens in Bedfordshire! **About the day** Wrest Park is a country estate with a mansion and over 92 acres of gardens. The gardens surround the mansion and include a number of other buildings, monuments and statues including a Chinese summerhouse, the Archer pavilion, Bowling Green house, the Ladies' Lake, Chinese bridge and a dog cemetery. The site goes back to the 13th century and from then until the 20th century, it was occupied by the de Grey family, Its now owned and run by English Heritage. The mansion is in the style of a French chateau and has numerous paintings from the last 300 years, The mansion and gardens were also used in the T.V series 'Bridgerton'. An English Heritage archaeological collection store is based at Wrest Park, which has over 150,000 artifacts taken from properties such as fireplaces, doors, Victorian banisters and beams, pre-historic antlers and Roman bridges. **Entry Cost** Entry is £17 per person (payable by cash or credit card on the day). With this particular chill event, we will be settling at Church fields. Church fields is an iconic landmark which offers us not only the amazing views of the luscious greeneries of Uxbridge but the gorgeous setting sun over it. One of the most peaceful fields in London and heavily underrated Depending on the aura and if the event goes well, we may do an aftermath and let democracy decide. What to expect? 3 different plant shops Rare plants of tropical & arid varieties Touristic sites Canal walk Lots of plant talk & exchanging care tips Itinerary: 10am - Meet at Camden Lock, outside Blacksheep cafe (5 minutes walk from Camden Town Underground station 10:15 - Canal walk 10:30 - Camden Garden cntr + cafe 11:30 bus/ walk to next shop 12nn - Conservatory Archives at Middlemews 1pm - walk/ bus towards Kentish Town rail/ Underground station 13:00 -Lots of places to grab food, e.g. Sainbury, Pret, restaurant, pubs 2pm - Boma garden cntr 2:30pm Goodbye time What to wear? Be prepared for British wether. Warm clothing & expect rain, so brolly, scarf & raincoats may be essential. Comfortable shoes.
