Cherry Blossom And Wisteria Gardens
Fri, Sep 18, 11:30 PM**J**ust when you think I've passed on I'm back for your enjoyment. **It's the annual Wisteria Gardens and Cherry Blossom Festival in the grounds adjacent to Parramatta Park** If you haven't explored all the activities in Parramatta Park then its time to find some hidden gems with a visit to the **Gardens** as a bonus. After we finish indulging ourselves at Bay Vista it's a pleasant stroll through Parramatta Park on our way to check out the beautiful cherry blossoms and **Wisteria** **Festiva**l in the grounds of the old hospital. Join in the carnival atmosphere and browse the many market stalls and maybe try some of the tasty treats from a variety of food venders and coffee shops. Plenty of photo opportunities and selfies (if you're that way inclined) before we finally decide to press on with the rest of the tour. Next up we explore Dairy cottage, the oldest European building still standing, with a veggie garden, probably there to supply the old hospital, (more happy snaps) before we come across the Domain Creek playground and a good excuse to get in a workout before lunch. I'll just enjoy myself on the swings. Before we think about lunch we have a lovely experience at a Rose Garden. More photo opportunities and dreaded selfies then finally to Club Parramatta for lunch and liquid refreshments. Don't know how many more events I'll organise, if any, so make the most of a sociable day out together then gather at the Club so you can shout me a drink or two and talk about what was and possibly what might be. To wrap it up. A very relaxed and sociable day set amongst some delightful gardens (Wisteria and Roses) with a chance to check out what Parramatta Park has to offer, besides myself. Get-together and lunch afterwards, what more could you ask for except another beer. No GRATUITIES and no DISCLAIMERS, just out to enjoy ourselves. Check out my phone number 0451483009 for no particular reason. P.S. I've included a few pics from previous visits just to give you a sneak peek of what you'll miss if you don't attend. For those that do attend a great day out exploring new territory with lovely people is guaranteed.

Sydney Claude Community: From Beginners to Builders
Wed, Sep 16, 10:10 PMWelcome to the Sydney Claude Community! Whether you are completely new to artificial intelligence or a seasoned developer looking to architect enterprise solutions, this meetup is your space to learn, share, and grow. AI is moving fast, and navigating it alone can be overwhelming. We’ve broadened the scope of this group to support everyone in our local community who wants to understand and leverage AI—specifically Anthropic’s Claude—no matter where you are on your journey. **What to Expect:** Grab a coffee and join us for relaxed, open discussions broken down into three main areas of focus: • The AI Explorers (Beginners): For those who don't know much about AI yet but are eager to explore, ask questions, and get hands-on experience in a welcoming environment. • The Professionals (Intermediate): For those who understand the basics of AI but want practical advice on how to implement it to help their teams, automate workflows, or support their companies. • The Builders (Advanced): For developers and consultants willing to dive deep, study AI architecture, and prepare for the official Anthropic certification exams. **Why Join Us?** As AI evolves, getting the right guidance is crucial. One of our co-organizers is an official Anthropic Partner and a newly Certified Claude Code Architect Professional. We are here to support the community, provide mentorship, share real-world use cases, and help you navigate the certification pathways. Come along to network, share your ideas, and learn how to make AI work for you! **About the Organizers & Partners** • Code Sydney (https://code.sydney/) • Community Partner: Seiment (https://seiment.com/)
