**On Sunday 28th May, we're hugely excited to be hosting our latest FREE Board Games Afternoon, exclusively for 20s and 30s.** Yep, that's right - we're back with another weekend games afternoon and we've booked out a big private space in central London. If you've not been before - we’ve got a fantastic collection of some of the most popular games that you’ll be able to choose from. From classics like **Exploding Kittens** and **Codenames**, social deduction games like **Chameleon** and **Avalon**, to party games like **Dixit** and **Wavelength**, you’re sure to find something you’ll love ❤️ And over the course of the afternoon, you'll be able to mix around, play a variety of different games, and meet lots of friendly new faces. All of our games are designed to be quick to play, easy to learn and accessible - and you’re also very welcome to bring your own, as long as they fit the bill and work for groups of 6 or more! Best of all, it's **completely free** to join us, so if you're looking to play some games, meet new people, and have a laugh, we'd love to have you join us. **\- \- \- \- \- \- \- \- \- \- \- \- \- \- \- \- \- \- \- \- \-** **WHERE/WHEN** Venue - Thirsty Bear, 62 Stamford St, Waterloo, London SE1 9LX. **Whether you’re brand new to board games or just looking for a cosy way to meet people, this night is designed with you in mind.** We run our board game night every two weeks, always in the same venue, and with the same familiar hosts. Our aim is simple: create the kind of event you enjoy so much that you want to come back - and maybe make a few new friends along the way. **Please use the link below to purchase tickets for this event.** [https://dplsk.eventcube.io/events/96394/board-games-at-finsbury-park/](https://dplsk.eventcube.io/events/96394/board-games-at-finsbury-park/) **⭐ What Makes This Event Special ⭐** **The Venue:** Blighty is cosy, colourful, and just a little bit quirky — like the living room of your eccentric aunt. It also has a fabulous garden where we play board games when the weather is nice. **The Games:** We currently own over 50 games, including favourites like Articulate, Codenames, and Secret Hitler. Every game is hand‑picked for maximum fun and easy learning. **Blood on the Clocktower:** We often run Blood on the Clocktower as a special feature of the night. It’s completely optional, always beginner‑friendly, and a brilliant way to meet people through laughter, bluffing, and bold accusations. **The Hosts:** They are some of the loveliest people you will ever meet on Meetup. It doesn’t matter if it is your 1st time or 100th time coming to the board game night, they will always make you feel welcome. **Who This Event Is For** This night is perfect for people who are new to board games or just want something light, social, and easy going. * You don’t need to know any games beforehand. * You’re welcome to come alone or with a friend - either is completely fine. This is not a hardcore gaming night. You won’t find Dungeons & Dragons or Magic: The Gathering here. **Price — £5 per person** Your contribution helps us keep the event fresh and fun: * We buy new games every month to expand and update our collection. * Any games we no longer need are donated back to the community through regular giveaways. Please note that tickets are non-refundable and non-transferrable. **Where & When** **Address:** Blighty, 35-37 Blackstock Road, Finsbury Park, London, N4 2JF **Google Maps:** [https://maps.app.goo.gl/p7X7u8VLoijfujS6A](https://maps.app.goo.gl/p7X7u8VLoijfujS6A) **Nearest Tube Station:** Finsbury Park Underground Station (approx 5 min walk) **Start Time:** 5:00 PM **End Time:** 9:00 PM If it’s your first time, we strongly recommend arriving before 5:30 PM so we can help you settle in and match you with a great game.

Hi Everyone, Please join us for Coffees & Cards Afternoon. This event is also alongside other groups I host. We’ll meet in a cosy coffee shop for a relaxed afternoon of card/board games and other easygoing games. Please bring a few of your own, as I’ll be focusing more on hosting than providing games. No pressure, no loud energy just gentle conversation, quiet fun, and friendly faces. Perfect for introverts, shy souls, and anyone who enjoys a calm social space. Any questions or concerns please do message me. I look forward to meeting you Dee

This event will be held in the Ballroom, more room for everyone. Welcome to the world of board gaming, if you’ve been before you know the score! If it’s your first time, please remember to read the description and rules, we don’t have many but there are some. We are a group of people who like to play (or learn) modern board games. From the highly technical to the simplest of games, from the seasoned gamer to the first timer, all are welcome. We cater for nearly all modern games as per our rules. We would be delighted if you wanted to join us, please don't fret if there is a long waitlist, this tends to disappear a day or two before the event, sometimes even on the day, so keep an eye out. Come have a drink, meet like minded friendly people and let the battles commence. If you have a game you would like to play, please mention it in the comments and see if others would like to join you. You can join one of the other games mentioned there already or even request that someone brings a game that you would really like to play. If you do bring a game, it would be great if you could teach it, but someone else might know it. If you don’t know the rules to any of the games being played, don’t worry too much, there are some great teachers here and they’ll let you know the rules to any game they’re playing. It would be best if you could be here by the start time, but if you can’t you could always let people know and they might wait for you to arrive before playing. Otherwise, you might have to wait for people to finish playing before you can join in another game. If you are new, please look for the person in the hi-vis jacket, or ask for one of the hosts, Rocky, Dori, Michele, Rafa or Rakshita and we will make sure you get into a game that suits you and your gaming level. Please abide by the rules and mostly, have fun!
