It also has a fabulous garden where we play board games when the weather is nice. **The Games:** We currently own over 50 games, including favourites like Articulate, Codenames, and Secret Hitler. Every game is hand‑picked for maximum fun and easy learning. **Blood on the Clocktower:** We often run Blood on the Clocktower as a special feature of the night. It’s completely optional, always beginner‑friendly, and a brilliant way to meet people through laughter, bluffing, and bold accusations. **The Hosts:** They are some of the loveliest people you will ever meet on Meetup. **Welcome to Mafia Games (and Picnic) in the Park!** With summer having arrived, we thought we’d have a few games of Mafia in an outdoor space. The plan is to meet around Regents Park (precice location tbd but likely around Broad Walk Cafe) We will be playing a few games of Mafia, if you are new you are very welcome to come - the game is easy to learn (but difficult to master!) We will have a couple of picnic blankets but please feel free to bring your own blankets/folding chairs if you’d like. **Do I need to know anything beforehand?** This is a casual **beginner-friendly** event in the park, and most of you will be playing with us for the first time. You will get to play many games. Most importantly, this is a social activity, so feel free to talk to anyone between the games and have fun! **What is Mafia?** Have you seen 'The Traitors'? Play the game that 'Traitors' is based upon! Mafia is a 10-player social game; it can get competitive, but it's easy to learn. We play at multiple tables. You get a secret role and work with your team to win. A game lasts about 45 minutes, so we play many during the day. The **Mafia team** tries to hide and eliminate the **Citizens**, while the **Citizens** try to find the Mafia through deduction and logic. While this is a **beginner-friendly** event, we also host tournaments and online events with more experienced players from around the world.
