**BCRG first Sunday of the month social ride** **What to Expect:** This is a monthly riding event that the organizers of BRCG created to socialize between the different groups and levels of the participants of this meetup. Every organizer shares the details of his ride below and you can attend signing up for the event and answering the name of the organizer you will go with. After the rides, all groups will meet for drinks. **Is This Ride for Me?** Before to sign up for a ride check the details of the route, elevation, km and speed level expected. While this ride is open to everyone, we ask that you are comfortable riding in groups, have a **road bike**, and **have done rides of similar distance and elevation** before. We welcome all newcomers but everyone is expected to be **self-sufficient**, therefore please bring not only your helmet, a spare inner tube, at least 1lt of water and a energy snack if you wish but also sync the route, bring phone and some cash. **Safety:** Beside wearing an helmet, proper shoes (not open shoes) and a road bike in good conditions **every rider is responsible of his own safety** and must respect the [spanish cyclist regulations](https://www.dgt.es/comunicacion/noticias/20-normas-que-todo-ciclista-debe-conocer/), ultimate safety starts and ends with everyone riding responsibly. Ride leaders will do their best to keep the group together, moving smoothly and safely at all times. We'll stop at red lights and obey traffic rules. **There's no commercial interest behind this event;** it's just a bunch of people sharing a fun day out. So this Sunday, we’re doing something brave, bold, and slightly questionable: We’re hopping on our bikes at **Girona metro** and riding all the way to **Premià de Mar**. 🚴‍♀️🌊 📍 **Meeting point:** Metro Girona (outside) 🕐 **Meeting time:** 12:47 PM (yes, that means *actually* 12:30 - not “Spanish time” 13:00 😂) **What to expect:** 💪 Mild exercise disguised as fun 🌞 Beautiful coastal views that make you forget how much your legs hurt 🍻 Occasional “hydration stops” (aka beer breaks) 🌊 And finally… the beach! Because every good adventure ends with sand in your shoes plus if you feel in the mood to swim, its the time Don’t worry — this isn’t the Tour de France. It’s more like the **Tour de “Let’s Not Die Going Uphill.”** 😅 We’ll take it easy, have a good laugh, and pretend we’re super sporty for at least one day before returning to couch life. So bring your bike, your sense of humor, and a touch of bravery. 💬 **Summary for the lazy scrollers:** \*🚴‍♀️ Meet Sunday at **12:45 PM** outside **Metro Girona** * 🌊 Ride together to **Premià de Mar** \*🍺 Reward yourself like a hero Join the ride or stay home and forever wonder what it feels like to be a legend on two wheels. 😉 * This is a **free, non-paid social gathering** organized by volunteers. \*The event **does not include any insurance coverage**. * Each participant joins **entirely at their own responsibility** and is responsible for their own safety, health, and belongings. \*By attending, you confirm that you are physically able to participate and that your bicycle is in good working condition. * The organizer is **not responsible for accidents, injuries, losses, or damages** that may occur during the activity. 📸 **Photos & Videos** \*Photos and videos may be taken during the event for **marketing and promotional purposes** (Meetup, social media, website, WhatsApp groups, etc.). * By attending the event, you **agree to appear in these images**. \*If you prefer not to be photographed, please inform the organizer at the beginning of the event.

**Weekly Wednesday Morning Rides are here!!** **Where & When:** * **Location:** **Forum (Poblenou)** * **Time:** 06:30 (Now that mornings are getting lighter this sees us return for 9am latest) * **Route:** https://www.strava.com/routes/3458756381789219340 **What to Expect:** This is a fairly flat group ride with just one key climb that is neither too long or too steep. The ride is designed to be done in approx 2.5 hours for fitter riders and sees us ride as a group before either heat or traffic are a factor. We'll ride together as a group, either single-file or double-file depending on traffic conditions. Whilst we will wait at the top of climbs and other easier areas, this is not a beginner ride. Please be prepared to be dropped if you can't keep up with the pace. **Is This Ride for Me?** While this ride is open to everyone, we ask that you are comfortable riding in groups, have a road bike, and have done rides of similar distance and elevation before. We welcome all newcomers but everyone is expected to be self-sufficient, therefore please bring not only your bike but also sync the route, bring phone, cash and lights. **Safety:** Ride leaders will do their best to keep the group together, moving smoothly and safely at all times. We'll stop at red lights and obey traffic rules. Ultimate safety starts and ends with everyone riding responsibly, and everyone will be responsible for their own safety. There's no commercial interest behind this event; it's just a bunch of people sharing a fun day out. Looking forward to riding with you!
