WHATSAPP LINK BELOW 📳​ We will make an Hike in the Märkische Schweiz area, probably he most beautiful natural area in the Brandenburg region.... 🏡 🌊 🪵🌲 **Which train to take:** 🚆 10,38 o'clock, RB26 in Lichtenberg station, to reach Müncheberg: https://int.bahn.de/en/buchung/start?vbid=3c9fd3b0-9cf7-4775-80b4-c5aec0959210 Then we take a bus from Müncheberg to Buckow (bus 928) to arrive at 11,45 o'clock Once arrived to Buckow, we follow this route: https://www.komoot.com/tour/3085200672 INFO ℹ️ℹ️ Route distance: 17 kms Pace: about 14 minutes per km (know by experience with my events) Breaks ⛔: 2 breaks along the way 🍔🥤 Bring your our own food 🍔 and drinks🥤for the breaks The hike should be completed around 16,45 (it is a loop). It seems there are several nice cafés ☕ 🥐 in Buckow, so we can stop at one at the end of the hike (for those who wish). Haunted place hike near Oranienburg (15km) with Café at the end ☕

Just in time for Halloween, we’re heading to one of the eeriest lost places in Brandenburg: the abandoned **Grabowsee sanatorium**. Hidden in the forest by a quiet lake, this former lung clinic has stood empty for decades. Its crumbling red-brick wards, ivy-covered facades and silent corridors are so cinematic they’ve been used as a film set for horror movies and Hollywood blockbusters, including *The Monuments Men*. On a grey late-October day, it doesn’t get more atmospheric. **The plan:** • **10:00** — Meet in front of Oranienburg train station 👉 [https://maps.app.goo.gl/qT83XCBzn2wgZZkV6](https://maps.app.goo.gl/qT83XCBzn2wgZZkV6) How to get there: Take the RB32 train to Oranienburg from Ostkreuz at 9:18, or use any other option that works for you. • **10:00–13:00** — We hike through the forest to Grabowsee (with a break for lunch/snacks) • **13:00–14:30** — We explore the sanatorium: the old clinic buildings, the chapel and the overgrown lakeside grounds. **Entrance: 10€, cash on site** (an additional fee of 10€ is usually asked if you want to take photos) • **14:30–16:30** — We hike back to Oranienburg. After reaching the city, there will be time for a well-earned **coffee & cake** ☕ before the train • **17:29** — We come back with the **RB12 to Berlin Ostkreuz** (or you can choose what works best for you) **What to bring:** sturdy, comfortable shoes, warm layers and a wind/rain jacket, a torch (optional), and **cash — at least 35/40€** (10€ ticket + 5€ meetup fee + some extra for the optional cafè/ photo permit). A 20k hike through a beautiful local valley filled with ancient mills, nature, and more. Hike Distance: 20km Difficulty: Intermediate Often hailed as "Brandenburg’s Wild South," this full-day trekking experience guides you along the entire iconic Schlaubetal Trail (Schlaubetal-Wanderweg), a 20-kilometer certified quality trail that winds through glacial valleys, pristine pine-oak woodlands, and serene lake chains. Starting at Müllrose—the gateway town to the valley—you’ll follow the winding, crystal-clear Schlaube River upstream toward its origin near Lake Wirchensee. As you navigate forested ravines and unpaved waterside paths, you’ll discover the region’s rich industrial heritage, passing historic timber-framed watermills like Ragower Mühle, Bremsdorfer Mühle, and Kieselwitzer Mühle. Surrounded by undisturbed wildlife, ancient trees, and quiet solitude, this hike offers the ultimate nature reset for urbanites looking to experience the full extent of Brandenburg’s premier hiking destination. Spätere Absagen werte ich als No-Show.** **Danke 🙏** . **🌲🥾 Beschschreibung** * **Marathon-Wanderung durch die Naturschutzgebiete von Berlin!** * Zahlreiche Ausstiegsmöglichkeiten, wenn Du nicht mehr kannst. Schau, wie weit Du kommst. Bei den letzten Marathon-Wanderungen sind ungefähr die Hälfte ins Ziel gekommen. * Sonntag danach auf jeden Fall schonen. * Eindrucksvoll Landschaft mitten in Berlin - lass Dich überraschen. Beim letzten Mal haben wir Rehe, Hasen & Füchse gesehen. * Wir machen nur kurze Pause, damit wir im Tritt bleiben. * Die Wanderung ist eine sportliche Herausforderung, trotzdem mit reichlich schöner Natur. * Wir können mehrfach einen 30-Minuten-Silent-Walk machen, um die Natur noch intensiver wahrzunehmen. Let's go for a walk in Tiergarten and take some nice photos of anything we want. There are no requirements to the equipment or skill level. I have some experience in photography and can give some advice to those who are interested. You can also join if you just want to have a walk regardless of your desire to take photos, but I plan to reasonably wait for others to finish taking photos in different locations. **The meeting point is Tiergarten S-Bahn station. The approximate route is a 6 km long circle which includes these locations:** * **Bellevue Palace** * **Soviet War Memorial** * **Rhododendronhain** * **Denkmal für Karl Liebknecht und Rosa Luxemburg** Smoking, alcohol and drug use are not supported at the event. The event is free, but you are welcome to leave some tips in the end, so I’ll be able to compensate the fees for the organizer subscription.
