Teas, Campfires, and Lawn Games

This will be an outside meetup, so dress warmly and bring a blanket or coat if the weather looks chilly. We will have a campfire. Wear shoes you don't mind getting a little dirty. We will be brewing smoky tea, such as Lapsang Souchong and Russian Caravan. Feel free to bring any other brewed tea that you want to share with others and/or any fall themed snacks, such as anything with pumpkin or apple etc. flavors. There will be lawn games set out. Some possibilities are bocce, croquet, badminton, corn toss, volleyball, ladder ball, etc. If it rains, we will move to a different date. This event will be at a private home in Hilliard. The address will be sent out a day or two beforehand.

Board games at The Forge

**Cost**: We do not require a fee to attend the events and The Forgehas graciously reserved us space to mee. We urge everyone to take full advantage of their drink selection and restaurant menu. The Forge has a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic options. does have a full bar and kitchen. in order to keep the event free, we want to average $20 per person. Soft drink refills are 1 each and we encourage you to try the mocktails as a level up! Please support our hosts so we can continue to provide great events for the group! **Parking**: We ask all attendees to park in the overflow lot located behind the Mexican restaurant next door unless of course you have mobility needs and need to park in the Forge Lot out front. **Gaming**: The Forge has a large library of games available for us to enjoy. Hosts and regulars will also provide numerous popular games but please bring any games you would like to teach and/or play. **when you arrive**: The Forge staff can direct you to our reserved area and a group event host can help you find a table and get going on something fun! Doors open at 6, and we expect gaming to be rolling by around 630. Please promptly end your games and clear out the space at 10pm when the bar closes. **Prohibited behavior** We encourage socializing but do not permit disruptive behavior of any kind. This includes especially, harassment or disrespectful behavior towards attendees and Forge staff. Pot Luck at a member's home!

Inspired by our successful events like "Saturday Mornings @ East Market" and other "Pot Luck in the Park" lunches, this gathering promises to be a blend of fun conversations, language exchange, and cultural insights, all while sharing wonderful foods with each other. This time, we will meet at the home of one of our members. Address will be given to those attending prior to the event. **Please bring a dish to share and anything you would like to drink.** We will provide plates, plastic silverware and napkins. Open Barn Day in October at Sunrise Sanctuary!

Open Barn Days are group tours where we open the Sanctuary to the public, allowing you to visit and get to know the animals on a personal level. Admission prices are Adult (18+) Admission $10, Youth (4-17) Admission $5, and Children 3 and under are free. All funds raised go directly toward caring for the approximately 140 precious souls that call Sunrise home. We are a volunteer run vegan Sanctuary and the funds raised are crucial to providing vet care, feed, and housing. We do limit attendance at these events to help ensure a safe and enjoyable interaction with the animal family. Because of this, we do require that tickets be purchased in advance. I listed below three of the stops we will make. We'll start by meeting at One Line Coffee. After these three, whoever still wants to walk around can make additional suggestions! Other options we can consider are Maison Skalli (662 North High St), Tertulia (997 North High Street), and any others I might not know about. North Market of course has a Stauf's. Inniswood tea and walk

With the weather cooling off, it’s a good chance to appreciate the beautiful gardens at Inniswood. Bring your favorite brewed tea to share, and any fall themed snacks you want, and we’ll have a cup of tea at the picnic tables by the parking lot before walking around the park. Bring a personal to go cup if you want to fill up before walking.
