Wenn du gerade eine Coaching-Ausbildung machst, sie gerade abgeschlossen hast oder mehr Sicherheit in deiner Coaching-Praxis gewinnen möchtest, dann komm ins Coaching Lab Berlin! Am 5. November werden wir: * Konkrete Coaching-Fälle gemeinsam analysieren: eine schwierige Situation oder eine konkrete Frage aus der Praxis. Was ist eigentlich das Thema? Welche Intervention könnte hilfreich sein? Wo hakt es? Was hätten andere Coaches gemacht? * In 1:1-Coaching-Sessions arbeiten: Eine Person übernimmt die Rolle des Coaches, eine andere bringt ein echtes Anliegen mit. Das Ganze findet in mehreren Runden und in parallelen Kleingruppen mit jeweils zwei bis drei Personen statt. Das Coaching Lab ist kein Seminar und keine weitere Ausbildung, sondern ein regelmäßiger Praxisraum für Coaches und Menschen, die diesen Beruf anstreben. Du kannst Methoden ausprobieren, Feedback bekommen, andere Coaching-Stile kennenlernen und mit der Zeit deinen eigenen Stil entwickeln. Dabei spielt es keine Rolle, ob dein Hintergrund im systemischen Coaching, NLP, agilen Coaching, Karriere-Coaching, Business-Coaching oder in einer ganz anderen Richtung liegt. Wichtig sind Neugier, Offenheit und die Bereitschaft, sich gegenseitig konstruktives Feedback zu geben. Die Teilnahmegebühr beträgt 10 Euro (zahlbar vor Ort). Thu, Oct 29, 9:00 AM**CEO of GERRY WEBER, Managing Director at Internetstores, COO of Marc Cain, Operating Partner in private equity: on paper, Torsten’s career looks like a classic success story.** But that’s not the story he is coming to Visionary Voices to tell. Instead, he will talk about what rarely makes it onto a CV: decisions that didn’t work out, unexpected detours, moments of doubt — and why some of his biggest mistakes became some of his most valuable experiences. His path to senior leadership was anything but conventional. Rather than starting out in finance or business, Torsten began his career in communications and marketing. He will take us back to the marketing world of the 1980s and reflect on just how much the way we work has changed since then. What have we gained — and what might we have lost along the way? Does everything we call progress actually move us forward? And what role do the latest digital tools and AI play in all of this? We’ll examine exhibitions, residencies, grants and commissions, including eligibility, fees, hidden costs, contracts and organisers’ track records. Using the Six Capitals of an Artistic Career, you’ll learn to assess the professional value of different opportunities and distinguish those worth pursuing now from longer-term possibilities. Vanity Galleries, Scams & Artist Safety * Are all paid open calls vanity projects? * How can you distinguish legitimate participation fees from exploitative offers? We’ll investigate vanity galleries, questionable residencies, misleading awards, hidden expenses and suspicious invitations. You’ll receive an Artist Safety Checklist to help you verify organisers, assess costs, contracts, insurance and image rights, and recognise warning signs before committing your money or artwork. Your AI Art Opportunities Manager You’ll build your own personalised AI Art Opportunities Manager using ChatGPT and my curator-developed research method. It begins with an adaptive interview about your artworks, professional experience, ambitions and practical circumstances, creating a Personal Opportunity Profile for your searches. Your manager will help you: * Find relevant opportunities across exhibitions, residencies, grants, commissions and other programmes. * Check eligibility, deadlines, fees and organisers against current official sources. * Evaluate opportunities according to your artistic goals, available resources, costs and potential professional return. * Identify what to pursue now, what to prepare for next and what deserves further investigation. * Keep searching over time, with updated research on demand and recurring checks where your ChatGPT account supports them. You’ll also learn to use it to investigate individual open calls and recognise information that needs further verification. You’ll take away: Your Personal Opportunity Strategy, Opportunity Decision Sheet, Artist Safety Checklist and reusable AI Art Opportunities Manager.

What does the jury’s decision actually mean? Working from real programme requirements, we’ll examine: * Portfolio selection, artwork documentation and presentation. * Artist CVs and biographies. * Artist statements and project proposals. * Selection criteria, jury decisions and common application mistakes. I’ll explain how curators and juries assess submissions, why strong artwork can still be unsuitable for a particular programme, and what a rejection can—and cannot—tell you. You’ll take away: An Application Blueprint for a selected opportunity, including the artworks to submit, required documents, working drafts or outlines and a submission checklist.
