Offline Night & Letter Writing | with Lucky Last Creative

Thu, Aug 27, 7:30 AM
From OffMode
4.9

Imagine opening a letter from yourself five years from now. That’s where this **Offline Night** begins. Join us for a **special evening** with Nicky from *Lucky Last Creative*, built around letters, reflection, and the chance to leave with a personalised poem written just for you. The first part of the evening is for yourself. Write a letter to your future self, your younger self, or simply put into words something you have been thinking for a while. Follow the prompts, write your own letter, bring a book, a journal, or simply enjoy slowing down for a while. Throughout the evening, Nicky will also be there with her typewriter, creating personalised poems on the spot for those who feel drawn to one. Then, the room gets louder. After an hour of writing and reflecting, you may find yourself unusually ready for your best conversations and to meet other people. Grab something to drink, join a game, drift into a new conversation or do all three! Please RSVP on https://luma.com/a0qr2mm2 to complete your registration

Harbour After Dark

Harbour After Dark

Fri, Sep 4, 8:30 AM
From Sydney's Friends and Connections Events Group!
4.7

**Harbour After Dark 🌆** **Where meaningful conversations, genuine connection, and new friendships begin.** Step into a different kind of Friday night. Harbour After Dark brings together professionals, business owners and people who are intentional about creating a full and meaningful life. It is for those who value genuine conversation, authentic connection and spending time with others who are also looking to build enriching relationships and a strong sense of community. In a world of Zoom calls, remote work, endless scrolling and busy schedules, many of us are craving something more human. A chance to step away from the screens. To unwind after the week. To meet new people naturally. To enjoy conversations that feel easy, genuine and energising. As life becomes busier, it is easy to realise that while we know plenty of people, we do not always have a community where we can simply show up, relax and enjoy being ourselves. Harbour After Dark was created to be that place. A place where familiar faces become friends, new conversations happen naturally and connection grows over time. Over the past few years, Harbour After Dark has grown into a well-established monthly gathering where people come to expand their social circles, reconnect with familiar faces and meet new people in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. Many of our guests have been attending for years and often bring friends along, while new faces join every month, making it easy to feel welcome whether it is your first event or your tenth. Whether you come on your own or with a friend, you will be welcomed into a relaxed and friendly environment where meaningful conversations happen naturally. There is no pressure to network or impress anyone. Just an opportunity to enjoy the company of good people and finish the week surrounded by genuine connection. **Event Details** 📅 **Friday 4 September** 🕡 **6:30 pm to 9:30 pm** **Novotel Darling Square Hotel** 📍 17 Little Pier St, Darling Harbour NSW 2000 **Dress Code** We encourage you to make an effort and dress with confidence. Think stylish, polished and relaxed rather than formal. **Food and Drinks** Drinks, cocktails, wine, beer, coffee and meals are available for purchase throughout the evening. **Reserve Your Ticket** **[https://www.eventbrite.com/e/1996920395659?aff=oddtdtcreator](https://www.eventbrite.com/e/1996920395659?aff=oddtdtcreator)** Places are limited, so please reserve your ticket in advance through Eventbrite. If your plans change after reserving your ticket, I would really appreciate you letting me know so your place can be offered to someone else. **Our Community** Harbour After Dark has never been about hosting just another social event. It was created to build a community where people feel welcome, conversations happen naturally and genuine friendships have the opportunity to grow. Kindness, respect and inclusiveness are at the heart of every event, and we ask all guests to contribute to the warm and welcoming atmosphere that makes Harbour After Dark so special. Photography and videography may take place during the evening for use across our website, social media and promotional material. By attending, you acknowledge and consent to this. If you would prefer not to appear in photos or videos, this event may not be the right fit for you. I look forward to welcoming you. **Cristina Davy**
