First MeetUp: Book Club of Not Knowing

First MeetUp: Book Club of Not Knowing

Thu, Aug 13, 4:00 PM
From Book Club of Not Knowing

*It makes a vast difference to experientially work it to the best of your ability rather than just hear about it and intellectually understand.* (From Ralston's "Pursuing Consciousness") If you have any interest in consciousness work, contemplation, or discovering who you are, what life is, etc., please read the group description. Everybody is welcome, no matter the familiarity with the matter, as long as there is a genuine interest. **Our agenda** 1\. Briefly getting to know each other 2\. Individually reading for about 30 minutes\. It can be any part of any of Ralston's books or similar material\. *No need to bring anything*. 3\. Sharing what we've read and contemplating each part silently for about 5 minutes\. 4\. More exercises or reading\, depending on the sentiment of the group\. E\.g\.\, dyads\, meditation\, or etc\. 5\. Feedback & outlook for future meetups\. 6\. Open ended socialising for whoever wants\. We won't share the "results" of our contemplations, unless somebody feels the need or thinks it might be valuable for the group. The reason for this is to avoid pressure during the contemplation, that can arise if we know we'll "have to" share what we "achieved". If anybody wants to attend **online**, we can make that possible too with a good laptop & speaker.

Calligraphy Workshop

Calligraphy Workshop

Sat, Aug 1, 11:00 AM
From JAPANESE CULTURE CLUB
4.8

Try out Japanese calligraphy with us! Everything you need is ready, just come and enjoy. The tradition of calligraphy was first brought to Japan from China in the 6th century. The style and technique, unique to Japan, later evolved and was practiced by the samurai, the nobility and the general public. We will practice different types of kanji and try to transform them into artistic works, which you can of course take home with you. I hope you have fun and discover new Japanese art! 書道のワークショップを開催します。 皆さんと楽しく練習して、最後には作品が作れればと思っています。 道具もすべてこちらで準備していますのでぜひご参加ください!

AI Future-Club Projects #3

AI Future-Club Projects #3

Thu, Aug 6, 3:30 PM
From Hackers / Founders Berlin
4.7

**A real AI project. A real kitchen. A surprisingly deep rabbit hole.** One of our members built an agentic AI system that creates a digital twin of your kitchen — and this month, they're showing us how. Food Storii tracks what you have, anticipates what you need, and helps you decide what to cook next. Under the hood: agents, real-world data, and all the messy decisions that come with building AI that actually does something useful. We'll see how it works, where it got interesting, and where it got hard. Real project. Real trade-offs. Presentation, Q&A and open discussion. ⏱️ Doors open at 17:30. Demo starts at 18:00. Before you arrive, **sign up for our newsletter** to stay in the loop on session recaps, resources, and upcoming events: [Future-Club](https://future-club.org) Show up ready to contribute. 🔥 See you there! 👋
