[Please RSVP](https://learn.soundcollective.com/courses/artist-branding-basics-free-workshop/) to ensure you will be able to participate in this free workshop. [Artist Branding & Social Media Basics](https://learn.soundcollective.com/courses/artist-branding-basics-free-workshop/) is a free, hands-on workshop that introduces the fundamentals of building your identity as an artist in today’s music industry. Hosted in Sound Collective’s New York City studios, this two-hour session focuses on understanding what makes an artist brand effective, how to communicate your story, and how to use social media intentionally to grow an audience. You’ll work through practical exercises alongside experienced music industry professionals, explore real-world examples, and leave with a clearer understanding of how artists develop a recognizable presence online. The Artist Branding & Social Media Basics workshop is designed to give you a genuine first experience, not an overview. No experience or prerequisites required. [However, RSVP is required](https://learn.soundcollective.com/courses/artist-branding-basics-free-workshop/)[.](https://learn.soundcollective.com/courses/dj-basics-free-workshop/) Workstations are available on a **first-come, first-served basis**, so we recommend arriving early to secure a spot. If all workstations are taken by the time you arrive, you’re still more than welcome to join the session, observe, and jump on the gear during open practice time!
