**Event Details:** **11:00 AM** meet at the entrance of *High Line Nine* gallery on 28th St **01:00 PM** one-hour lunch break **05:00 PM** event ends, regardless of how far we’ve progressed Starting from the *High Line Nine*, we will do our best to visit every gallery until we reach *Lehmann Maupin* on 24th St. This is a casual group gallery walk designed for inspiration and connection with fellow creatives—not a guided educational tour. Expect at least 8,000+ steps of walking. You're free to leave whenever you please. Just let us know so we won't have to wait for you. Please wear comfortable shoes and have breakfast before you arrive. Don’t forget to bring a water bottle to stay hydrated! There is no fee to join. Reconsidering Paul Klee @ Jewish Museum

A personal guided conversation about looking, feeling, thinking, and wondering. Lets ask weird questions! Notice strange things! See what art does to us. Paul Klee's work has always felt a bit off in its own territory. I look at his work, and see it full of a personality. I also tend to see it as fairly light-hearted, This show does an amazing job of saying: "yes, but wait there is more!" The wall text is actually pretty good! NOTE: This Museum requires admission fee. BUT NOT ON SATURDAY!!! SO we're good. We will look at what we want, it won’t be everything, lets keep our eyes fresh! As we go, I hope you’ll join me in an open, low pressure, no pretense conversation about what we see, and how it affects us. I will tell you what I know and what I intuit, and also what I don't know. I hope you will ask the questions that pop into your head. and after, we will try to find time for a weather appropriate beverage together. We may discuss: * Why do we think Klee did what he did? * Why does it feel related to today? * Does it matter if you like the work? Why should we look at it? * What do you do when it is freaky or rude? If it provokes a response (including boredom, anger, confusion).
