There’s something powerful about sharing your reflections and intentions with other growth-minded individuals. When you're surrounded by people who value progress, purpose, and self-awareness, it creates a natural sounding board for ideas, clarity, and encouragement. These kinds of conversations can help you see things differently, feel more supported, and stay aligned with the goals that truly matter to you. 🌿**MEETING POINT** Let's meet outside Botanic Gardens Visitor Centre at 2:00pm. Anyone who would like to grab a coffee can do so, then at 2:15pm, we'll take a walk around the Tan. 🤝**CONNECTION ACTIVITY** During the walk, you’ll be invited to participate in structured conversations with different partners as we rotate every 15ish minutes. We’ll provide reflection prompts to guide your discussions on: * What worked well this past month * What challenged you or stretched your limits * Intentions or goals for the month ahead * What success and balance look like for you This is a space to connect authentically, think intentionally, and feel supported by others who care about growth and alignment - both professionally and personally. 👋**NEW HERE?** Welcome! Join Theosophist Margaret Harris, PhD, in her continuing series of discussions, digging deeper into Astrology every Friday from 4:00pm - 5:30pm WHO AM I? It is not the fear of God' which is 'the beginning of wisdom' but the knowledge of SELF which is Wisdom Itself .. MAN KNOW THYSELF" (Blavatsky,1901, p.15, Studies in Occultism) KNOW THYSELF In this supportive weekly group, through an Astrological lens and connecting with our own birth maps, we explore books that can help us explore paths towards our spiritual unfoldment. Through a variety of texts, from both Theosophists and Astrologers, we look at the energetic connections we have with the heavens and how they can assist us as we journey from our personality selves to our spiritual selves. Various knowledges from participants are also welcomed and encouraged as we continue to work with the 3rd object of the Theosophical Society: "To investigate unexplained laws of Nature and the powers latent in the human being" The Society is a registered charity and these events are free, but donations are welcome.

Social Bouldering Night at BlocHaus Port Melbourne

Social Bouldering Night at BlocHaus Port Melbourne

Tue, Sep 1, 8:30 AM
From Melbourne Social
4.9

Let’s meet for a casual evening of indoor bouldering at BlocHaus Port Melbourne. Bouldering is climbing on shorter walls with padded mats, without ropes or harnesses. BlocHaus describes it as a social activity that can be done with or without a partner, and their first-time page says beginners can come along and hire what they need in-house. We’ll meet near reception at 6:30pm, do a short warm-up/pre-workout, then start climbing around 7:00pm. You can climb as much or as little as you like, take breaks, watch others climb, or work on problems together. This is not a competition or a formal coaching session. Everyone is responsible for climbing within their own ability and following BlocHaus rules/staff instructions. **Who this is for** * Beginner-friendly and suitable for people who want a relaxed social climb. * Experienced climbers are also welcome, especially if you are happy to climb casually and help keep the vibe friendly. * Solo attendees are very welcome. You do not need to come with a climbing partner. **Links** * Meetup start point: [https://maps.app.goo.gl/39gz2CkAmiicRNR76](https://maps.app.goo.gl/39gz2CkAmiicRNR76) * BlocHaus website: [https://mlb.blochaus.com.au/](https://mlb.blochaus.com.au/?utm_source=chatgpt.com) * Pricing: [https://mlb.blochaus.com.au/pricing/](https://mlb.blochaus.com.au/pricing/?utm_source=chatgpt.com) **Timeline** * 6:30pm – Meet at BlocHaus reception and say hello * 6:45pm – Short warm-up / pre-workout * 7:00pm – Start bouldering * 8:45pm – Cool down / post-workout * 9:00pm – Meetup ends **Tickets / cost** * Everyone will need to pay their own BlocHaus entry directly to the venue. * Climbing shoes are required on the wall, and BlocHaus says shoes can be hired in-house. **Bring** * Comfortable clothes you can move in * Water bottle * Socks for hired climbing shoes * Climbing shoes, if you have your own * A small towel or change of clothes if you want * Payment card, as BlocHaus lists itself as EFTPOS only **Expect** * Difficulty: Flexible — choose climbs that suit your own level * Pace: Casual and social * Group style: Relaxed, supportive, beginner-friendly **Important notes** Bouldering involves risk.
