Creativetoolkits is a community of 3D artists, fabricators, animators, VFX artists, TouchDesigner visual artists, software engineers, post-production professionals, videographers, directors, music producers, designers, creative coders, and more. Our goal is to create a space for people using creative technology to meet collaborators, exchange ideas, share projects, and build community. Whether you’re an industry professional, hobbyist, student, or just curious about how technology is being used in creative fields, you’re welcome to come hang out. Each week we have open sign ups for individuals who want to pitch an idea, showcase a project, or a present a topic. A recording studio experience for women creatives where poetry, music, storytelling, rhythm, and community come together. This interactive session combines a masterclass, hands-on learning, collaboration, and recording opportunities inside a professional studio environment at Pirates Studios. Whether you're a poet, singer, songwriter, beatmaker, storyteller, creative entrepreneur, or simply someone who has always wanted to explore recording, this space is designed for you. Together we will: • Learn the foundations of self-recording and studio recording • Explore songwriting, spoken word, rhythm, and storytelling techniques • Create beats and soundscapes inspired by Latin, African, Arab, flamenco, hip-hop, and diasporic traditions • Receive live feedback and creative coaching • Collaborate with fellow artists in real time • Have the opportunity to record your own poem, story, song, or creative piece • Connect with a supportive community of women and femme creatives No experience is required. Beginners and experienced artists are welcome. Participants will receive a two hour session including a beat making masterclass and a group/ individual recording session, where artists own their own work. Inspired by Indigenous wisdom, Hispanic heritage, Latin culture, and traditions of gathering through music, poetry, storytelling, and celebration, Rimas, Ritmos y Reinas is about reclaiming our voices, honoring our roots, and building confidence through recording and artistic expression. Our meetings have a super casual and open atmosphere where all are welcome to contribute. Feel free to come late or leave early. So whether you're an AI enthusiast or skeptic, a creative professional already using AI on the daily, or someone just starting their first vibe coding project, this group may be for you! **NOW NEW & IMPROVED** We are doing "Hack-a-salons" after every meeting (starting at 5pm) now that 310 Coffee is staying open later.
