Kick off our Build with AI series by building a real-world generative AI application from scratch! This series is a community-led initiative run in support of the Google Developer community. In this hands-on workshop, you will dive into the **Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform** and learn how to implement multimodal capabilities using the Gen AI SDK for Python. What we will cover: * **Streamlit Framework:** Build an interactive frontend interface for your AI application. * **Gemini API Integration:** Write Python code to orchestrate prompts using high-performance, low-latency models like Gemini Flash. * **Cloud Run Deployment:** Containerize your application using Docker and deploy it to Google Cloud's scalable serverless infrastructure. Whether you want to generate creative text, analyze marketing data, or process multimedia inputs, this session will give you the foundational architecture needed for the rest of our multi-part enterprise AI journey. Bring your laptop and be ready to build! **Register [here](https://gdg.community.dev/events/details/google-gdg-culver-city-presents-develop-an-app-with-the-gemini-api-in-gemini-enterprise-agent-platform/)!**

AI, Art & Vibecoding - StrangeNew.World @ 310 Coffee

AI, Art & Vibecoding - StrangeNew.World @ 310 Coffee

We frame ourselves as **"a support group for the technological singularity"** and we are an eclectic mix of open-minded thinkers, artists, and tinkerers who believe in embracing the emerging technologies and capabilities in the most humanitarian way possible. Our meetings have a super casual and open atmosphere where all are welcome to contribute. Feel free to come late or leave early. So whether you're an AI enthusiast or skeptic, a creative professional already using AI on the daily, or someone just starting their first vibe coding project, this group may be for you! **What to Expect** Interesting conversations, relevant content, and educational resources. We are a diverse community of people who want to help each other and the world around us. We meet in person once a week at **310 Coffee in Culver City from 3-5pm**, we share our work and interesting news in our Whatsapp group, put on remote Learning Labs, go to events together, and encourage our members (who have the availability) to participate in a learning collective where we can volunteer to give each other one-on-one crash courses in various artistic, technical, and entrepreneurial disciplines. Here is a list of what we can teach: [https://strangenew.world/labs/what-we-know](https://strangenew.world/labs/what-we-know) We also encourage each of our members to take on a Passion Project, which could be as simple as getting up and running with a new artistic medium or project, or as complex as laying the groundwork for your dream business or career. We believe there has never been a better time (at least in OUR lifetimes) to set your sights on what your ideal life would be two years from now and then just start moving toward it. And maybe we can help you do that by giving you the hand-holding you need to get over that first hump, which can sometimes be the most difficult part. **How to Give Back** If you are a member looking to give back, or if you like what our organization is doing, then please follow, subscribe, rate us, and smash that like! 🤣 I know it seems silly to many of you, but in the attention economy, just the act of following us, liking our posts, and reviewing our events can make a huge difference in how the algorithm shines upon us. Also, if you would like to support us in a more direct way, please consider giving us a one-time donation, subscribing to one of our tiers, or sponsoring us. We pay for a lot of stuff out of pocket, so please consider becoming a patron to support the overall longevity of our group and vision. [https://strangenew.world/support-us](https://strangenew.world/support-us) **More Information** What we explore during our meetings really depends on who shows up and what they want to discuss: * The changing job market. What skills will matter in 10 years * The future of business and the creative industries * Chatbots, LLMs, and Agentic Workflows * Using AI for scientific or artistic exploration * Will generative art destroy Hollywood or save it? * What is consciousness? What constitutes intelligence? * The various types/platforms of vibecoding and which is best for your project * The end of capitalism as we know it * Are we entering the 2nd Cognitive Revolution? * **Learn more at: [https://strangenew.world](https://strangenew.world)**

What Are You Building? Tech Connect LA

What Are You Building? Tech Connect LA

Mon, Jun 29, 2:00 AM
From BUILD YOUR TEAM | Tech Connect LA

**What are you building — and who's the one person you need to meet?** Tell us. I'll introduce you to them in the room. I got tired of leaving my best ideas to chance. Here's the truth nobody says out loud: most billion-dollar ideas don't die from a bad idea. They die because the founder is missing one person. One technical cofounder. One operator. One investor. One creative who knows how to navigate the industry and turn motion into momentum. You have the vision. You have the product. You have the drive. The only variable left is the specific person who closes the gap — and right now, finding them is luck. We took the luck out. **Here's how it works:** You tell me what you're building and who you need to meet. I read the room, find the person most aligned with where you're going — and I introduce you personally. No guessing who's who. No working up the nerve. Just the right introduction, made for you. Most people leave a networking event with a stack of cards they'll never use. You'll leave having met the one person who can actually move your company. **Three steps:** 1. Click RSVP 2. Answer one question: what are you building, and who do you need to meet? 3. Get the venue sent direct — then show up and I'll handle the introductions Free event. Real introductions. Zero random small talk. Right now you're leaving the most important relationship of your career to chance. We made it our business. **What are you building? Click RSVP.**
