Couple Workshop - Give or Take? Exploration on Desire & Trust

Couple Workshop - Give or Take? Exploration on Desire & Trust

Thu, Jun 18, 5:00 PM
From SPNKD Berlin | Where Desire Rules

ABOUT What does it truly mean to give and what does it mean to take? This workshop is for those who wish to deepen intimacy and explore desires with curiosity, mutual care, and a sense of play. Through playful embodied exercises, we will investigate how desire moves between us: how it is offered, received, claimed, resisted, and sometimes withheld. Dare to meet your own desires Using a simple and accessible framework inspired by the Wheel of Consent, we’ll look at the different qualities of giving and taking, not as fixed roles, but as fluid experiences that can shift from moment to moment. You’ll be invited to notice what genuinely feels nourishing, what feels performative or habitual, and where your own edges lie. WHAT YOU WILL EXPLORE Why receiving pleasure can feel so vulnerable, and what holds us back The often-overlooked pleasure of taking The difference between surrender and tolerating How to communicate our desires and boundaries with clarity and ease Through guided exercises, reflection, and playful interaction, you’ll gain practical tools for expressing your desires and boundaries with greater confidence and nuance. The focus is on cultivating presence, trust, and emotional precision, the foundations of truly satisfying play! THE EXPERTS: Alexander Ma Alexander Ma is a researcher, philosopher, and kink educator exploring presence, impact and power through consensual BDSM practices. His work is informed by his background in Japanese martial arts (Aikido) and his studies in Kinbaku. He holds a PhD and is the founder and editor-in-chief of Kinbaku Society of Berlin magazine. Natasha NawaTaNeko Natasha NawaTaNeko is a kink educator and somatic practitioner exploring embodiment, surrender, and intimacy through rope and BDSM. She is the author of Somatics for Rope Bottoms and teaches internationally, focusing on awareness, consent, and polarity in intimate relationships.

Berlin. Designing the Next Generation of AI Experiences

Berlin. Designing the Next Generation of AI Experiences

Mon, Jun 15, 4:00 PM
From Projector Global Community
4.8

**Designing the Next Generation of AI Experiences** AI products are evolving faster than ever. But while interfaces become smarter, trust, clarity, and usability often lag behind. Join us for an evening exploring how designers shape AI experiences people can actually understand, trust, and use with confidence. Together with leading voices from the design industry, we’ll discuss the challenges of designing for AI-driven products, emerging UX patterns, and what it takes to build meaningful human-centered experiences in an increasingly automated world. The evening will feature several keynotes, followed by a panel discussion and networking with Berlin’s design community. **Speakers & Talks** **[Vitaly Friedman](https://www.linkedin.com/in/vitalyfriedman/)** Author, co-author, editor of Smashing Books ([https://www.smashingmagazine.com/books](https://www.smashingmagazine.com/books)), and a curator of Smashing Conferences ([https://www.smashingconf.com](https://www.smashingconf.com)). He is the UX lead with the European Parliament and Smashing Magazine ([www.smashingmagazine.com](https://www.smashingmagazine.com)) and front-end/UX consultant in Europe and abroad, working with large and small companies and organizations like Haufe-Lexware, Axel-Springer and others. **Talk: Designing For Trust In AI Products** We often assume that just because a product has AI features, users will automatically value, appreciate, and rely on it in their daily work. In practice, people expect software to work — and AI systems often introduce uncertainty, unpredictability, and a lack of transparency. This session explores how to design AI experiences that feel trustworthy, understandable, and genuinely useful, with practical UX patterns and lessons from real products. **[Anna Herasymenko](https://www.linkedin.com/in/annaisdesigner/)** Staff Product Designer at Meta, working at the intersection of AI, systems thinking, and product craft. **Talk: Vibe Coding for Craft** AI products can't be designed in static tools. The behavior is the experience — and behavior only shows up when real APIs and real data are in the loop. Designing in Figma is like planning a meal with pre-chopped ingredients. Vibe coding is actually cooking it: discovering the oven runs slow, the recipe has a typo, a spice is missing. That gap between planning and cooking is where craft lives. This talk reframes AI-assisted coding as a repeatable workflow for designing AI experiences: stress-testing edge cases, surfacing the failure modes static design tools hide, and closing the gap between looks right and feels right. **[Rafaela Stamboroski](https://www.linkedin.com/in/rstamboroski/)** Model Behavior Designer for Joule at SAP **Guarding the Guardrails: The Designer’s** **Role as Behavior Becomes the Product** Designers have always created shared context: aligning people, decisions, workflows, and business goals around user needs. In AI-native products, this skill becomes even more critical. Strategy and systems thinking turn into behavior alignment: shaping how AI acts, responds, and collaborates with humans. This talk explores why the designer’s role is not shrinking in the AI paradigm. Instead, designers are moving upstream: defining guardrails, influencing product strategy, and helping businesses deliver AI value safely and meaningfully. **[Abanoub Awny](https://www.linkedin.com/in/abanoubawny/)** Sr. UX Designer & AI Innovator @ SAP Signavio, Founder of [Unblind UX](https://www.linkedin.com/company/unblindux/) **Your Next User Isn’t Human** AI is no longer just a feature inside digital products. It is becoming an active participant in how products are used, interpreted, and operated. As agents begin to navigate workflows, consume system structures, interpret content, make recommendations, and collaborate with humans, design must evolve beyond screens and interactions. This talk challenges designers, product teams, and developers to rethink what “user experience” means when the next user of your system may not be human. **Agenda** **18:00 — Doors Open & Networking** **18:30 — Keynote Presentations** **20:00 — Panel Discussion** **20:45 — Community Networking** **Venue Host** Hosted by **[SAP Office](https://www.sap.com/germany/about/berlin.html)** in Berlin — a front-runner and thought leader in enterprise application software, focusing on innovating parts of the core business, exploring trends, and developing new technologies. **Hosts** This event is organized by [Projector Global Community](https://www.linkedin.com/company/projector-global-community/?utm_source=luma) ambassadors (by [Projector Institute](https://prjctr.com/en/about?utm_source=luma)): * [Emiliia Karpiuk](https://www.linkedin.com/in/emiliiakarpiuk/?utm_source=luma) * [Julia Savchuk](https://www.linkedin.com/in/yuliia-savchuk/?utm_source=luma) * [Yuliia Kovalova](https://www.linkedin.com/in/yuliiakovalovapm/?skipRedirect=true) **Photos & Video** Please note that we will be taking photos at this event. An opening of an art exhibition is a nice occasion to catch up and hang out. No agenda, just art, wine and chat. *** KIT Berlin ([@kitstudioartspace](https://www.instagram.com/kitstudioartspace)) invites you to an exhibition of paintings by Wiola Stankiewicz [@wiola_stankiewicz](https://www.instagram.com/wiola_stankiewicz/) “Now it Makes Sense, Isn’t It?” and a musical performance by Antonio Bastos [@antonio__bastos](https://www.instagram.com/antonio__bastos/) Now It Makes Sense, Isn’t It? continues the “Emotional Algorithm” project — a series of paintings built from intuitively selected screenshots, private photographs, and images found online. The images are combined like an emotional bajaderka (a Polish layered dessert traditionally made from mixed leftovers, fragments, and combined remains) — sometimes through color, contrast, or an unexplainable feeling that they simply belong together. The works explore screen aesthetics and digital ways of perceiving images. Meaning often appears only later. And sometimes not at all. Wiola Stankiewicz is a visual artist born in Elbląg, Poland, currently living and working in Coimbra, Portugal. Her practice focuses on painting, collage, and assemblage, using mixed media techniques and experimental material processes. Working with icons of popular culture, landscapes, found images, and photographs from her personal archive, Stankiewicz builds a coherent and autonomous visual language based on intuition and process. Her works function as images of an open character, in which meaning emerges from the relationships between image, material, and gesture. Antonio Bastos turns vulnerability into stage, community into sound and instinct into creation. From electronics to tradition, from improvised lyrics to shared movement, his music is born live and unfolds into a visual, emotional experience. With dozens of releases and festival shows, he was awarded People’s Choice at the IPMA (USA), blending performance with community creation — involving choirs, schools and local groups of all ages. Each concert is a seed sown in the territory, where the audience also becomes creator.

[face to face] professional communication exercise

[face to face] professional communication exercise

Sun, May 31, 11:00 AM
From Berlin Software Designers
4.7

Join this Professional Communication session — to sharpen the skills for architectural pitches, elevator pitches, interviews. This time we meet in the Monbijou park. 💡 How it works The event is split into two parts: 1. **Communication (10 minute rounds)** – One participant answers a round of design and behavioral questions. Each other participant gets to ask him one question. 2. **Feedback Round** – The group provides feedback on communication, structure, and clarity. Constructive criticism is encouraged. 💡You will be asked: * **Light design problems** (high-level reasoning, not code) * **Behavioral questions** (“Tell me about yourself”, “Describe a challenge you faced...”) No need to prepare anything in advance — just bring curiosity and an open mind. 💡Note: location is the entrance to Monbijou park
