Hackathon: Humanizing The Prototype

Hackathon: Humanizing The Prototype

Sat, Jun 27, 5:30 PM
From ProductTank SF
4.7

**Seats are limited.** Register and complete the screening form to hold your spot. We use your answers to build balanced teams. Build a real-time AI video agent in a single day. Tavus lets you create agents that see, hear, and respond in real time. Paired with Lovable's rapid UI generation, your team ships a fully functional human-agent interface before the session ends. No engineering background required. Tavus offers white-labeled APIs and a low-code environment anyone can use. Bring a concept. Leave with a **working prototype**. **⚡ What you'll actually do** * Get a Tavus product intro, and a live hands-on API demo. * Build your own interactive AI agent in a focused sprint. Start from your own concept or use a Jumpstart Idea below. * Demo your work in a rapid-fire Show & Tell and compete for the winner's prize. **✨ What you get** * Free Tavus API credits for all builders. * Free Lovable credits and a live published URL for your completed project. * A chance to win the **team prize**. * Lunch included. * On-call experts to unblock you during the build sprint. 🎒 **What to bring** * Charged laptop * Headphones **Agenda** * 10:30 to 11:00 AM: **Arrival + Team Forming**. Grab refreshments, meet fellow builders, and form squads of 3-5. * 11:00 to 11:30 AM: **The Spark**. Welcome from ProductTank SF, Tavus platform intro, and a live API demo. * 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM: **The Build**. Start building interactive agents with Tavus and Lovable. Agents must respond in real time, not loop one-way. * 12:30 to 1:00 PM: **Fuel Up**. Provided lunch. * 1:00 to 3:45 PM: **The Build Continues**. Push to a working prototype. * 3:45 to 4:30 PM: **Show and Tell + Prizes**. 2-minute demos of your browser-based prototypes, wrap-up, and winner announcement. **Jumpstart Ideas** Need a concept? Use these as starting points: **The Retail Concierge (Shopping Assistant):** Post-purchase shipping is inflexible. Build a video avatar on the order confirmation page that lets customers reroute shipments, pause delivery, or choose pickup points, while Lovable renders the live UI. **The Talent Concierge (Onboarding Guide):** New hires drown in PDF links. Build a personalized HR avatar that walks employees through benefit elections and hardware setup, explaining the "why" while the Lovable interface captures the data. **The Virtual PM (Status Responder):** Status reports go one way. Build a Virtual PM avatar that fields questions about project artifacts. Users ask "Why is the API delayed?" and get a context-aware answer from repository data. **Special thanks to our sponsors** * Tavus: real-time conversational AI video agents. Free API credits for builders. [tavus.io](https://www.tavus.io/) * Lovable: rapid UI generation so teams ship a working interface in one session. [lovable.dev](https://lovable.dev/)

How to Build Products That Stand Out in the Age of AI

How to Build Products That Stand Out in the Age of AI

\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\* ***[TICKET PURCHASE REQUIRED](https://www.vlab.org/events/future-of-drug-discovery/)****:* https://www.vlab.org/events/founders-series-how-to-build-products-that-stand-out-in-the-age-of-ai/ \*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\* **How to Build Products That Stand Out in the Age of AI:** **Is Generative AI Destroying Differentiation?** Building new products has never been easier. But there’s a catch: it is becoming harder than ever to build products that stand out. Generative AI is dramatically lowering the time and the cost required to create and launch products, flooding almost every category with new entrants. However, this huge influx is having unintended consequences, with an increasing number of similar-looking products offering similar-looking features. In many markets, the ability to create is far outpacing the ability to differentiate. Meanwhile, the cost to acquire new customers is escalating rapidly, with global ad spending projected to surpass $1 trillion this year. As these conditions continue to evolve, winning customers will be defined by a company’s ability to embed differentiation, customer value, and trust into its product from day one. In this special Founders’ Series event, Lifang He, author of *Brand Power Built In*, and Stephanie Zeppa, partner at Sheppard Mullin Richter and Hampton, will share their thoughts on how founders and entrepreneurs can avoid costly mistakes and make high-stakes decisions with confidence. * Beyond innovation, what else do you need to differentiate your product? * Why should your brand be an integral part of your product offering? * How can you use positioning to guide what you build, not just how you market it? In addition to the “fireside chat” discussion, a few select founders will have the opportunity to get in the “hot seat” and receive some individual counseling about their unique situations. Join us on June 25 to hear more about differentiation in the age of AI — and get a free signed copy of Lifang’s book. *** **Speaker** * **[Lifang He](https://www.linkedin.com/in/lifanghe/)**, author and brand strategist, [LifangHe.me](https://www.lifanghe.me/) **Moderator** * **[Stephanie Zeppa](https://www.linkedin.com/in/stephanie-zeppa-1b6a707/)**, partner, [Sheppard Mullin Richter and Hampton LLP](https://www.sheppardmullin.com/) *-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-\* Important: [Ticket purchase is required](https://www.vlab.org/events/future-of-drug-discovery/) for this in-person event: https://www.vlab.org/events/founders-series-how-to-build-products-that-stand-out-in-the-age-of-ai/ If you RSVP to this Meetup but do NOT purchase a ticket, you will not be able to attend this event. *-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-\* **In-Person Event** San Francisco, CA (Location details will be sent to registered attendees.) *-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-\* **Ticket Includes Food and Drink**
