New York Finance & Investment Professionals Networking Mixer

New York Finance & Investment Professionals Networking Mixer

Wed, Jul 22, 10:00 PM
From NYC Founders & Funding Circle

### The New York finance community is meeting again. After a break of more than two years, we are bringing back our in-person finance networking meetups in New York City. Before the break, we organized as many as nine events a month, bringing together professionals from across finance, investments, banking, technology, and related industries. We are excited to begin building that community again. This is an informal evening networking mixer for people working in or alongside the finance and investment industry. You may meet: • Investment managers and analysts • Bankers and financial advisors • Private equity and venture capital professionals • Stock, equity, credit, research, and trading analysts • Family office and wealth-management professionals • Fintech founders and professionals • Accountants, consultants, lawyers, marketers, recruiters, and technology professionals serving financial companies • Professionals exploring their next role or career direction in finance There are no formal speeches or lengthy presentations. The purpose is simply to bring interesting people into the same room and make it easier to start conversations. You might discuss developments in the market, exchange perspectives on an investment opportunity, discover a potential deal, meet someone who can support your due diligence, find a useful professional connection, or simply learn more about another area of the industry. ### How the evening works 1. Arrive and check in. 2. Collect your name badge. 3. Introduce yourself to someone you have not met before. 4. Share what you do, what you are interested in, and what kinds of people you would find helpful to meet. 5. Continue meeting people throughout the evening. Please do not spend the entire event speaking only with people you already know. Say hello, introduce yourself, and have at least a few conversations with new people. One of the many relationships I built through gatherings like this had a lasting impact on my own life and career. That is one of the reasons I am excited to begin organizing these meetups again. Come with an open mind, a friendly introduction, and a genuine interest in meeting your fellow professionals. ### Who should attend? This event is suitable for established professionals, emerging professionals, founders, executives, service providers, and people exploring opportunities within the broader finance and investment ecosystem. Whether you work directly in finance or support the industry through technology, operations, marketing, legal services, recruiting, consulting, or another adjacent field, you are welcome. ### Important information • This is a professional networking event, not a formal conference. • Attendance does not guarantee investments, clients, employment, introductions, or business opportunities. • Please engage respectfully and avoid aggressive selling. • The exact venue will be shared with registered attendees once confirmed. • Space may be limited, so please RSVP only when you reasonably expect to attend. We look forward to welcoming the New York finance community back. ##
