**Get More Done, Make More Money & Stop Doing Everything Yourself** **BLACK CIRCLE: Private Operators. Real Growth.** **REGISTER HERE**: [https://events.humanitix.com/get-more-done-make-more-money-and-stop-doing-everything-yourself](https://events.humanitix.com/get-more-done-make-more-money-and-stop-doing-everything-yourself) **Date: July 2nd, 2026** **Time: 6:00 PM (90 Minutes)** **Location: Burwood, Sydney** **What's Quietly Slowing Your Growth?** Most business owners know they should be further ahead than they are. More leads are coming in, but follow-up is inconsistent. The team is busy, but progress feels slower than it should. There never seems to be enough time to focus on growth because operational issues, client demands, and day-to-day tasks keep getting in the way. Black Circle is a private, curated discussion for business owners, founders, consultants, and operators who want practical solutions to the challenges that slow business growth. This is not traditional networking. No sales pitches. No awkward introductions. No generic business advice. Just honest conversations with other business owners about what's actually working, what isn't, and where opportunities for improvement exist. ## **This Session: What's Quietly Slowing Your Growth?** **We'll explore common challenges that many growing businesses face:** * Opportunities and leads falling through the cracks * Inconsistent follow-up and accountability * Team members being busy but not always focused on the highest-value work * Communication breakdowns that create unnecessary friction * Business owners spending too much time inside the business rather than growing it * Systems, processes, AI and support structures that improve efficiency and consistency * Practical ways to create more capacity without simply working longer hours ## **You'll Leave With:** ✅ At least one growth bottleneck identified ✅ Practical ideas to improve efficiency and reclaim time ✅ Better visibility on where opportunities may be slipping through the cracks ✅ New perspectives from other business owners facing similar challenges ✅ Actionable improvements you can implement immediately ## **Ideal For:** * Business owners * Founders * Consultants * Agency owners * Professional service firms * Operators and managers * Anyone responsible for growth, performance, and execution **Small room.** **Serious people.** **Practical conversations.** **Real business challenges.**

Is This Share Any Good? — A Live Valuation Workshop

Is This Share Any Good? — A Live Valuation Workshop

Thu, Jul 9, 8:00 AM
From Sydney Money Club
4.8

**Is This Company Any Good? — A Live Valuation Workshop** Think of a company you’d like to understand better. Once you RSVP, please nominate one company in the comments. I’ll choose one from the nominations before the event and walk through how I would analyse it step by step. In beginner-friendly language, we’ll look at the business model, financial statements, profitability, cash flow, debt, valuation and key risks, with the aim of learning how to think clearly about whether a business is high quality or not. This is an educational workshop only. It is not personal financial advice. The goal is to learn the process of business analysis so you can think more clearly about businesses and investing. All levels of experience are welcome. Don't be put off if you know nothing about money, we keep things very beginner friendly! After the company analysis, we’ll stick around for drinks and a relaxed discussion about what we're investing in, personal finance books we're reading, and share tips on getting ahead financially. Bring whatever questions or topics are on your mind, including how to start investing, the big tax changes, property versus shares, ETFs, super, budgeting, risk, or anything else finance-related. The aim is to create a friendly group of like-minded people who want to learn, share ideas and make better long-term decisions with money. **Cost:** $10 cash or PayID on the day.

Eating Food and Telling Stories: Malaysia

Eating Food and Telling Stories: Malaysia

Thu, Jul 9, 8:30 AM
From Eating Food and Telling Stories

A small dinner with strangers, stories, and delicious Malaysian food. **Update from the last event**: 1) added photos from the previous event - see in the group pictures; 2) created an instagram page where I'll be posting some bits of interesting stories we haven't discussed [https://www.instagram.com/eatfoodtellstories](https://www.instagram.com/eatfoodtellstories) Food has so much to tell - every dish carries memories. Enjoying the taste is great, but food becomes even more enjoyable when we know the story behind it. This event is not a lecture or a food tour; it is a dinner where we’ll eat together and talk about why we eat what we eat: how dishes travel, how flavours create memories, and how food becomes part of identity. I’ll guide the evening by choosing the dishes and sharing short stories about Malaysian food, ingredients, history, and culture, but the best version of the night is a conversation. Everyone is invited to taste, react, ask questions, and add their own perspective. It will be fun - we might debate the long-running Malaysia-Singapore nasi lemak rivalry, explore how laksa reflects centuries of migration, or look at how trade and colonial politics transformed flavours that many people now think of as traditional. You do not need to know anything about Malaysian food. You might be trying it for the first time, or you might have grown up eating it. Either way, the point is the same: to enjoy great food with good company and discover the stories behind the dishes. Coming alone is very welcome. Coming hungry for food and stories is even better. * Group size: 4-6 people * Duration: Around 1-1.5 hours * Cost: Free to attend; everyone pays for their own food and drinks, $35 per person * The exact venue and dishes will be shared several days before the event. We'll be sharing a selection of dishes as a group, which is central to the experience. Because of that, this event may not be suitable for people with dietary restrictions
