Monday games (beginner friendly)

Come and play board games! Join us for tabletop board and card games such as Just One, Colt Express, Saboteur, Potion Explosion and Wingspan. Monday nights are aimed at welcoming players who are new to modern board games. We always try to make sure that someone is happy to teach games and welcome new people on the night, so don't worry if you're not sure what to play or who to sit with. We don't charge a fee for attending the Meetup, but you will need to pay the venue's game session fee of £8 per person (unless you have a Gold or VIP [Ludoquist membership](https://www.theludoquist.com/collections/membership-2022)). Please arrive by 18:50 in time for everyone to get into groups for the main games to start at 19:00. We will start arriving from 18:30 if anyone wants to join early for short games and chat. Board Games Night - Ye Olde Swan

Introducing Social Meeples! A local board game club based in Thames Ditton. Been running since mid 2023, however new to meetup as would love to welcome more new faces to our club. We run every two weeks on a Thursday evening - Ye Olde Swan from 7pm. The evening starts at 7pm usually flows as follows: Start of the night as people arrive, general socialising & start off with a quick group game. Once this concludes, we break into multiple groups depending on game type, interest and complexity & the night rolls on from there, generally finishing by 10pm. Each week members are encouraged to bring along games they wish to play & we choose games from the selection available on the night. We find this is a great way to play new games. We are beginner friendly; with a run down on the rules of each game before we start.

Wednesday Night Gaming!

Come and play board games! We play all types of games on a Wednesday night, ranging from social deduction and lighter games to heavy euros and complex strategy titles. Beginners are very welcome, we'd love to see you! We'll always welcome you on the night and make sure we get you into a game, and we have plenty of players on hand happy to teach the rules to different games - so don't worry if you're not sure what to play or who to sit with. Tabletop Social - Boardgames and Party games.

We are excited to welcome you to our Social Tabletop and Party games. 👾 You can also find us on Meetups. On this occasion we hope to bring you a thrilling deduction game of Blood On The Clocktower. Blood on the Clocktower is a 5–20 player Hidden identity game (similar to Traitors, Mafia or Werewolf) where a good team tries to identify a the evil team before they eliminate the whole village. High player interaction, with unique character roles, and a Storyteller to guide the game. Our regulars always bring a wide selection, also *you are welcome to bring your own games*. We have a beautiful location in the garden of The Old Bell. We will be in the back. I'll make sure not to miss you. If you fancy playing games, cooling off,🧉 good conversation 🍷and new friends to🍵 share plenty of laughs, we'd be thrilled to have you along!

Whitley Bay Playtest Day

Playtesting comes to Bay Games, Whitley Bay's game cafe. A full afternoon of demoing, with Playtest UK volunteers on hand to connect gamers with games. Bay Games has been supporting game designers since first opening its doors, and we're thrilled be joining them for this event. This page is intended for designers to register interest. If you are interested in demoing - and you have not already messaged me - please comment here BEFORE Monday 29th June. You can bring as many different prototypes as you want but the event is not intended for promotion - any posters, flyers etc must be no larger than A4 size. Any questions feel free to comment!
