It was as if I was in a cocoon of total support, allowing peace to flow into my entire being." - Alison COVID SAFETY GUIDELINES & PREVENTION MEASURES: - If you are showing any symptoms, please do not attend. Any participant repeatedly coughing in the space will be asked to leave immediately. - You can wear a face-covering during the sessions if you choose to. - Please come already dressed in comfortable clothing ensuring your knees, armpits and torso are covered, and with a bag for your belongings. There are bathrooms at the venue but no changing rooms. - We will provide antibacterial wipes and hand sanitisers at the venue. Please wash your hands regularly and use the hand sanitiser supplied upon entering the venue. - All touch hotspots will be regularly cleaned with disinfectant between each session. - We ask that all participants keep at least 1m physical distance at all times. Any participant repeatedly breaching this distance will be asked to leave. - We will provide clean lavender eye pillows and covers will be changed between each session. You are welcome to bring your own eye pillow/ eye mask. - All hammocks will be disinfected with antibacterial spray between each session. - Blankets and cushions: we will provide separate sets for each session. You are welcome to bring your own blanket & cushion. - The venue has skylights that will be opened to allow more airflow in the space. PLEASE NOTE: 1) Strictly no latecomers! - Sorry, please arrive on time! Unfortunately, if you are more than 10 minutes late, you will not be allowed entry, (and there can be no refunds if you are more than 10 minutes late, very sorry!) as we need to make it a calm & peaceful space for people who are already here. 2) Please only arrive 5 minutes before the start of the session, as there is no waiting room. 3) No Refunds. No refunds are available as we need to have enough time to fill the space left. Ensure that your clothing is "zipper free" and remove all jewellery (body piercings, watches and hair clips. These items can snag and damage the silk hammocks.

Thu, Jun 11, 10:20 AMAAA Hiking are excited to announce our second trip to this stunning island! **We invite you to explore the best beaches in Italy, easy-moderate scenic hikes of 5-8 km with coastal views and 360-degree summits, unique Sardinian culture, and tasty local food!** The middle of June is an ideal time for the trip when the sea is already warm, the air is not too hot for walking, and the tourist boats are running to the famous beaches. Here, nature reigns supreme. In the heart of the Supramonte mountains, goats, sheep, donkeys, and wild boar roam freely through forests of strawberry trees, holly oaks, and ancient oaks. Overhead, the majestic royal eagle soars, nesting on the highest peaks and guarding this pristine paradise. The ancient Greeks called it **olbìa - ‘happiness’**. It is the gateway to the island and the driving force behind the economy of the Gallura area. Many flights arrive there, and it is a good town to stay in and explore before or after the trip. After the pick-up, we will take you to the Porto Taverna beach for your first swim and lunch. There is a high chance you may see flamingos there in the freshwater lakes, located close to the beach. We will make our way to the accommodation in Cala Ganone in the afternoon. The exact itinerary of the following days features the highlights listed above and will be shared with attendees closer to the day. Every day is planned with care and adjusted according to the most recent weather forecast. **LOCATION** We will be based in Cala Gonone, a seaside town, rising up from the Golfo di Orosei. It is located on a steep hill at the foot of the extinct volcano Codula Manna and slopes down to the gulf. From here you can go on to discover numerous beautiful bays, such as Cala Ziu Martine, Cala Fuili, Cala Cartoe and Cala Luna, a beautiful pale blue bay dominated by steep, lunar grey rock walls. Cala Luna is one of the Mediterranean’s most enchanting beaches. Graced with a beach of almost powdery sand and surrounded by blooming oleander trees, it was the setting for the Lina Wertmüller cult **film *Swept Away***. For our ancestors, the Summer Solstice marked the peak of the sun's power – a time of abundance, fertility and light. **Stonehenge's precise alignment with the solstice sunrise** is no coincidence – it may well have been created to celebrate this extraordinary turning point in the year, when the sun reaches its highest point before the days begin to shorten once more. During the Summer Solstice, music, dancing, singing and centuries-old rituals fill the air. 🥁🎶 The sunrise is welcomed with joy, gratitude and an outpouring of good energy. Bag checks may be carried out, with illegal items confiscated and entry refused. * Alcohol and drugs * Drones * Glass – this is to protect livestock and wildlife that graze in the area, plus visitors who walk barefoot during Solstice. **TRANSPORT** As on most of our trips, we'll travel in a comfortable 16-seater minibus. **TRAVELLING TO THE MEETING POINT** The meeting point is accessible by normal tube service – please allow extra time for your journey.
