Apologies for switching the date to the 14th- I realized I have a SolarGem retreat the weekend of the 6th of june. (More info if you're interested: **SolaraGem** is a wellness and "subtle energy" biohacking device that combines light, color, and crystal therapy. It is designed to be attached to a portable LED light to project various frequencies through different gemstones with the goal of supporting physical, mental, and emotional well-being.) [https://www.eventbrite.com/e/solaragem-crystal-fusion-light-immersion-experience-tickets-1988356950163?aff=oddtdtcreator](Eventbrite Link to Event) I've done the Captain Kidd : Hangman's Treasure room and the facility and owners are amazing. Check them out here: https://coneyescaperoom.com/ I've booked the room for 3 people. $50/pp : ask me for my venmo to confirm your attendance. More people are welcome of course- the room limit is 5 people. What can you expect? An escape room is an interactive, live-action, team-based game where players are locked in a themed room and must find clues, solve puzzles, and complete missions within a set time limit—usually 60 minutes. Participants use logic, creativity, and collaboration to overcome challenges and achieve a goal, such as escaping a room, finding treasure, or solving a mystery. This will be my 124th escape room however I'm not great at them- I just love being challenged. This is the first part of the day: after we can grab lunch and ride the rides or walk the boardwalk. The room starts promptly at 1:45pm, there might be a grace period but usually escape rooms deduct time from the hour if you are late.

Gay Men Cityscape Exploration

Gay Men Cityscape Exploration

Sat, May 30, 8:13 PM
From Gay men cityscape exploration team

Activity: Walking / Hiking / Relaxing / Exploring / People-Watching / Conversation / Silence Date & Time: May 30, 2026, at 4:13 PM Location: Doris C. Freedman Plaza In front of the purple statue Grand Army Plaza / 60th Street & 5th Avenue A lot of people today are physically present but mentally somewhere else. Scrolling during conversations. Thinking about the next thing. Comparing appearances more than experiences. Over time, this can create emotional distance, loneliness, anxiety, overstimulation, and a feeling of emptiness even when life looks “fine” on the outside. Many people are craving something real: real conversation, real connection, real experiences, and a healthier, more present way of living. Gay Men Cityscape Exploration Team exists as an alternative to constant distraction and surface-level interaction. This group is about reconnecting with real life through movement, exploration, conversation, silence, community, and shared experiences. Some people join to meet others. Some want healthier habits. Some want to rebuild confidence, break isolation, improve mental health, or simply feel more alive again. A lot of people are more capable than they realize. Capable of: • creating meaningful friendships • becoming mentally and emotionally stronger • building confidence • exploring new experiences • growing beyond old routines and distractions But growth rarely happens staying isolated or stuck in the same patterns. Sometimes one walk, one conversation, or one decision to show up can change more than expected. You do not need to impress anyone. You just have to show up. Come walk, explore, talk, observe, breathe, and be present with us. Text or call: 419-487-3413
