Our experience at this 128-year-old theatre society, and its original Stanford White-designed mansion facing Gramercy Park, will include: * A walkthrough of the clubhouse , which contains paintings from Norman Rockwell and John Singer Sergeant , as well as Tiffany glass pieces -A look inside historic rooms including the Grill, Great Hall, and Library * Access inside Edwin Booth’s bedroom , which has been untouched since his death in 1893 — in it, rests the skull used in his famous 100 consecutive performances of Hamlet, and a small picture of Wilkes, the only evidence of their relationship that Edwin would keep -A look at early photos of Edwin’s family and other personal artifacts and memorabilia of his life in theatre If we're lucky, we'll see some of the club's more notable members walking the halls! Click here to see pictures from one of our last visits! \*This experience can only be conducted on weekdays \*\*The Players does not have an elevator Disclaimer By attending a New York Adventure Club experience, you accept our terms of service. No experience is necessary and this is the perfect party whether you come alone or with a group of friends; by the end of the night you will have interacted with everyone in the room! This is 100% fun. Can you catch the killer? Cocktails and chaos await!** Our interactive murder mystery nights are a fun and different way to socialize on a Saturday evening! For each of these adventures, everyone at the party plays a role and everyone is a suspect! When you arrive our staff will be on hand to welcome you and give you a character to play in the story. It is designed to be fun and not super hard. During the night our host will narrate the chain of events that lead to the murder then it is up to you to solve the case! **What to expect?** You will be given a character that may be the person who everyone is looking for or you may be the person who solves the mystery. (You will not know right away). Our hosts will set the mood and explain what you need to do which is pretty much relax and enjoy the party with all of the other guests who are playing characters too! **What's the story?** **THE STORY** Katie and Ronald have been dating on and off since high school. Their relationship has survived breakups, makeups, money problems, cheating accusations, lies, jealousy, and enough drama to fill ten years of reality television. But somehow, they always found their way back to each other. After a decade together, Ronald finally popped the question—and now their wedding is only **one week away!** Katie and Ronald are convinced that the problems of their past are behind them. They’re older. They’re wiser. They’ve matured. They’ve forgiven each other. At least… that’s what they keep telling everyone. To celebrate their final days of single life, Katie and Ronald have decided to skip the traditional separate bachelor and bachelorette parties and throw **one enormous combined celebration** instead. They’ve chartered a party bus and invited an unforgettable collection of friends, family members, former flames, old enemies, questionable acquaintances, and a few characters from their past who probably should have stayed there. The plan is simple: pile onto the party bus, hit several locations, drink too much, party too hard, and celebrate the happy couple before they walk down the aisle. **What could possibly go wrong?** Apparently… everything. As the party rolls from one stop to the next, the drinks start flowing—and so do the secrets. Old grudges resurface. Past relationships are exposed. Feelings get hurt. Friendships are tested. Unexpected bonds are formed. Hookups happen. Accusations start flying. And some people begin to wonder whether Katie and Ronald should be getting married at all. Then the celebration takes a deadly turn. **Before the night is over, one member of the party will be DEAD.** Suddenly, everyone is a suspect. Was it the jealous ex-boyfriend who never got over the bride? The nagging future mother-in-law who thinks this wedding is a terrible mistake? A jilted former lover looking for revenge? The minister who knows more about the couple than anyone realizes? The bride’s bizarre brother, who’s been acting suspiciously all night? Or could the killer be someone even closer to the wedding…**Katie or Ronald themselves?** Everyone aboard the party bus has a story. Everyone has a secret. And someone has a motive for murder. You’re invited to join Katie and Ronald for one final night of partying before they say **“I do.”** But choose your friends carefully. Because tonight… **You could be the victim. You could be the murderer. Or you could be the one who solves the case.** Welcome aboard. FAQs: **Can I come alone?** Yes 90% of those attending will likely register on their own but you are invited to bring as many guests as you would like just register for that amount. **Age-specific?** All are welcome 21 and over. **How much?** $20-$30 depending upon how early you purchase. NOT sold at door. Game limited to 40 people and this sells out quickly. It begins when people feel safe enough to stop performing. Bloom Room is built on kindness, curiosity, respect, and consent. You will never be asked to do anything that doesn't feel right for you. We simply invite you to come with an open mind and a willingness to be present. ## **Bring** • 🍀 A blanket, towel, or mat • 💧 Water, a mug • 👚 Comfortable feminine clothes you can move in • 📒 A journal if you'd like We'll take care of the tea, snacks, supplies and more ## **Contribution** We ask for a contribution to help cover tea, snacks, and materials. Clocktower for All, Sundays at the Hugh!
Sun, Sep 13, 6:00 PMCome join a game or two! All are welcome. We'll usually start off our sessions with some beginner-friendlier games, i.e. Trouble Brewing and the other base scripts, so showing up on time is a good idea if you're new. Later on we might run more complex custom scripts. You don't need to bring anything other than your beautiful self and your phone, in order to access the script we're playing. Due to space constraints, please mark if you're planning on coming, and it's also a good idea to join the Discord server at the link below and respond to the event there as well. It's very helpful for us to know exactly how many people I should be expecting. https://discord.gg/fPjBUBaxHu
