Tabletop Game Night

Every Saturday night we run Games With Strangers. Grab a drink or dinner, meet some new people, and learn a new game. Our game expert will teach you our featured games for the night and introduce you to your fellow players. We run games of all levels, from the lightest of the light to the ones that need four hours and a book. Each week we feature two games. Run a kingdom, build a farm, assemble your heroes, or craft the best story, but, whatever you do, come do it with us.

For the love of community and our local musicians, this communal picnic will take place at the historic Archie Spigner Park *(formerly known as St. Albans Park)* where many of our beloved legendary Jazz artists once called their home. Bring your blankets and food-filled baskets and come be a part of a positive atmosphere for grooving and relaxation in the heart of Southeast Queens. The smooth sounds from Saxophonist Carl Bartlett, Jr. in a live 2-hour performance between 3:00pm - 5:00pm will have you vibing in the park. It will be a day of Caribbean rhythms paired with the soothing sounds of the saxophone, transcending you to a happy place. Whether you decide to play a game of the life-size version of Connect Four or just lay out on the lawn with your picnic basket while listening to music, this event will uplift your spirit. If you don't recognize the games, don't worry, everyone is happy to teach new players the rules. And feel free to bring your own board games if you wish. Between all of us, there's usually a large selection of games to choose from. In order to support our awesome, not-too-loud, well-lit venue, each person must purchase something to eat or a few drinks. ***\*\*\*Again, there is a $15 minimum per person.****\*\*\** *** We always welcome new people & we're all here to have fun, but we do have a few ground rules that we ask everyone to be aware of: * Treat everyone in the group with respect & do not discriminate. Some of us "trash talk" when we play, but it's all in good fun & in the spirit of gaming. * This is a restaurant/bar so accidents are bound to happen. However, if you're responsible for ruining someone else's game by spilling a beverage or food on it, the right thing to do is to offer to purchase a new copy for them. Bingo at Bryant Park

Hey there. Bingo is back at Bryant Park in midtown Manhattan. This will take place every Wednesday in June. Goes from 7 to 8:30 pm. Takes place by the 41 Street & 6th Avenue entrance. Event is FREE and everyone gets one bingo board. You don't need dabbers. It's best to show up ahead of time and it's first come, first served. They have run out of boards in the past. There are prizes awarded like T-shirts and gift cards, but no cash is given. It's a good time and host Andy Ross keeps it moving. I can't hold seats and this is an outdoor event, so it's subject to weather conditions. The B, D, F, M and 7 trains stop right there. There are public bathrooms in the park and across the street at Whole Foods. So there you have it. Bingo fans of NYC, unite.
