I've scheduled this as a two hour event that you can join at any time as long as you have RSVPed to 'Attend' before the event starts (let me know if you're joining us late). BLUE MOON SHAMANIC PRACTICE WITH SHAMANESS CHOKBAR-MIROZA

BLUE MOON SHAMANIC PRACTICE WITH SHAMANESS CHOKBAR-MIROZA

Sun, May 31, 2:00 PM
From Shamanic Club
5.0

Dear Shamanic Club, I am inviting you for a rare BLUE FULL MOON In Sagittarius Shamanic Practice. We will be doing it through zoom. May is a special month with two full moons. Shamanic practice, in short, is a time of you aligning with the rest of you. It is a time of mastering your flow of meditative states. In which you can later see your New Self. During this class we will have several healing modalities that involve movement, rattling, drumming, energy practice, affirmations, meditation, shamanic journeying. Rattling is a form of a shamanic meditation with the whole body being involved. It is an ancient tool to access the present moment. It is an opportunity for your inner healing work. It is an opportunity to keep developing your extra sensory perceptions. It is an opportunity to keep learning how to access Shamanic state of consciousness. The rattle is used to invoke the assistance of your Power Animals and helping Spirits. The sound of the rattle is connected to the water element and assists a person to shift into an altered state of consciousness, where self healing is happening faster. If you never rattled - you could be in for a big surprise of how it effects you. Very positive. People reported their aches and pains disappearing. For those of you who already have developed Shamanic practice, this is an opportunity to continue to deepen your practice. For new people: I am native Tuvan, hereditary shamaness. For more info on my work and healing practice: www.tuvanshaman.com Instagram: @shamanesschokbar WHAT TO BRING: any type of a rattle, could be self made out of a glass jar filled with corn, beans or rice. If you have a drum, bring it too. Desire to learn more about yourself and the world. As always you are encouraged to create simple or elaborate Shamanic Altar prior to our class. You can just put some candles, incense, flower/s, simple food offerings, power objects on your table/altar. If you don't have anything or don't know how yet, at least put a bowl of water and a candle as part of the preparation for the Shamanic Practice with me. To participate, please, reserve here and confirm your reservation with a Venmo transfer. Minimum suggested energy exchange/light offering: $36 You are always welcome to share more. Once you reserve, I will direct message my Venmo address. Your zoom link will be send about an hour prior to the event. Make sure your meetup settings are on, so you receive it in your email inbox. Because of the nature of this work, no late arrivals. Please, be there and ready. Please, make sure you are alone in a room and nobody is disturbing you for the duration of our time together. If you have never done anything like this, I encourage you to try it. Don't feel intimidated. If not now, when? The world needs more people who are not in the ordinary state of consciousness. Who know how to elevate themselves, transform and how to heal. Try it. Shamanic rattling meditation also works wonders for people who have challenges to do classic still meditation. I am looking forward to be of service and see you there!

Songwriting Club @ Funkadelic Studios

Songwriting Club @ Funkadelic Studios

Sun, Jun 14, 11:00 PM
From Funkadelic Studios
4.7

Join us every 2nd Sunday of the month for our Songwriting Club at Funkadelic Studios! Not a jam, but a unique event, cultivating intentional songwriting, and fostering collaboration between artists. All attendee's full participation is key. Attendees can expect an engaging experience starting with some ensemble games to wake up our creativity and collaboration before being divided into small "bands". Each band will have two hours to collaboratively craft a song, choosing to use (or ignore if you wish!) creative prompts. The goal is to leave with a voice memo demo and the contacts of your new collaborators so you can choose if you'd like to continue working on your song! We are excited in 2026 that it will culminate in an end-of-year performance. Come in with nothing but your instrument! If you do not want to carry an instrument, the Studio provides guitars and bases for rent for $5 an hour. $10 Attendance fee at the Studio

The temps are going to warm up next weekend and will be the perfect opportunity to go out and meet others your age while also getting some exercise and seeing the beautiful park. Our 50 & Over Social Walks are an extremely popular way to make new friends and meet others in a safe and unique setting. This event is very casual and non-awkward + our host will help to make introductions. Little Island provides a one-of-a-kind relationship between nature and art—a break from urban life and a connection to spontaneity and joy. It's become NYC's newest and hottest attraction! We'll make several stops along the park so that people can take pictures and admire the beautiful views. We'll circle the island a couple of times and then afterwards, we'll continue the walk along the Hudson River. During the walk, you will randomly be paired with others in the beginning then rotate at designated times so that you get to meet everyone participating. Afterwards, you're welcome to hang out and exchange contact info with others. FAQs: **Where to meet?** Exact meeting location with host contact info will be sent to all paid attendees day of the event. **How many will attend?** We are limiting the # of attendees so that there's enough room for everyone to feel comfortable. **What if rains?** We will email attendees a new date. **Can I come alone?** Yes, about 90% come on their own. **Ages?** 50s & Over. Gender balance is not guaranteed but we usually get a good mix. **How much?** $15-$25 depending upon when you get ticket and spots left.
