🌳🌿 EVENING HIGH PARK SUMMER WALK 🌿🌳 Toronto's Biggest Park, Hidden Trails & Great Company High Park is Toronto's largest and most beloved park β€” and once you start exploring it, it's easy to understand why. From winding trails and forested paths to Grenadier Pond, beautiful gardens, historic landmarks, and even a small zoo, High Park offers a little bit of everything. Despite being right in the middle of the city, parts of the park feel surprisingly wild and peaceful. Join us for a relaxed social walk as we explore some of the best parts of High Park together. This is not a historical tour. It's a social walk focused on fresh air, exercise, conversation, and enjoying one of Toronto's most beautiful green spaces. **πŸ‘‰ Don't forget to join our WhatsApp group – CLICK HERE!** *** πŸšΆβ€β™‚οΈ What We'll Do We'll spend approximately 2 hours exploring High Park's trails, pathways, and scenic areas. Summer weather can change quickly, so please dress appropriately and be prepared for sun, heat, or light rain. The only reason we would cancel is for severe weather conditions. πŸŒ…πŸŒŠ SUMMER EVENING WALK OF THE TORONTO ISLANDS (9KM) πŸŒŠπŸŒ… Sunset Views, Island Paths & Toronto's Best Skyline There is something magical about the Toronto Islands in the evening. As the city begins to slow down, the islands come alive with golden light, cool lake breezes, and some of the most spectacular views in Toronto. It feels like you've escaped the city without ever leaving it. Join us for a relaxed summer evening walk across the T Toronto Islands as we explore Hanlan's Point, Centre Island, and Ward's Island while enjoying beaches, open green spaces, charming cottages, and breathtaking skyline views. The Toronto Islands have a fascinating history. Originally connected to the mainland as a long sandbar peninsula, a powerful storm in 1858 permanently separated the land from Toronto, creating the islands we know today. Over the years they've been home to amusement parks, summer cottages, beaches, and the unique island community that still exists today on Ward's Island. This is not a formal historical tour. It's a social walk with beautiful scenery, fresh air, and great conversation. πŸ“² **Join Our WhatsApp Group:**[ Click here to join](https://chat.whatsapp.com/DRFTkxRlHS4B3IL1lMleUd) *** πŸšΆβ€β™‚οΈ What We'll Do We'll take the ferry together to Hanlan's Point and begin our walk across the islands. Our route will take us through: 🌊 Hanlan's Point 🌳 Centre Island 🏑 Ward's Island πŸ“Έ Multiple skyline viewpoints πŸ–οΈ Beaches and waterfront paths We'll stop throughout the evening to enjoy the scenery, take photos, and soak in one of Toronto's most beautiful summer experiences. As the sun begins to set, we'll enjoy some of the best views of the city skyline anywhere in Toronto. Feel free to bring a snack or something small to share. You're welcome to leave at any time or stay and explore after the walk. *** β˜€οΈ Weather & Expectations This event will happen in typical summer weather conditions. That means warm temperatures, sunshine, clouds, or light rain. The islands are often cooler and breezier than downtown Toronto, especially later in the evening, so bringing a light sweater or jacket is recommended. The only reason we would cancel is for severe weather or thunderstorms. Also β€” this is NOT a guided historical tour. I'll share bits of history throughout the walk, but the focus is social connection and enjoying the islands together. *** 🧒 Meetup Details πŸ“ Meetup Location: Inside the Jack Layton Ferry Terminal beside the bathrooms 🫎 I'll be wearing my Moose Hat ⏰ Meetup Time: 6:30 PM 🚒 Ferry Departure: 6:45 PM (Hanlan's Point Ferry) PLEASE BE ON TIME. 🚒 Ferry Return: 9:45 PM Once we're on the ferry, it will be very difficult to catch up with the group. 🎟️ Ferry Ticket: (Insert Current Fare) You must purchase your ticket before arriving.
