Cooking Spoon Carving Class

Lose yourself in a bit of wood carving! Learn the process of safely using an axe and knife to shape a raw piece of wood into something you can proudly take with you. The tools and wood are all provided for you. The first half of every workshop will focus on making a specific themed item to practice basic skills. The second half will be open to further refine the piece or to explore some personal carving aspirations. The four hour workshop is donation based. Hi, I’m Khushboo Sangwan, a left-handed creative writer and project manager living in Berlin. I’ve always dreamed of writing a book. 📖 But somehow, life keeps getting in the way. Work, responsibilities, other plans, and suddenly another year has passed and that first draft is still sitting somewhere in your head. 💻 I know how difficult it is to stay consistent when you’re doing it alone. ✍️ So I decided to stop waiting for the perfect time and create the kind of writing group I wished I had. Psychedelic Forest Hike III

Hey psychedelic fans! With the harvest season coming to an end, we are once again hiking through the beautiful Grunewald. On Halloween (or Samhain), the boundary between this world and the Otherworld is said to be easier to cross. So, let’s see which spirits we can discover amongst the trees. Bring whatever you need for the afternoon: drinks, some snacks to share, something to sit on during the picnic break, and, of course, suitable clothing. Just like last time, we’ll meet at S Grunewald (exit towards Grunewald) at 12:00, with the hike starting around 12:15. We’re aiming to be back at S Grunewald between 16:00 and 17:00. If you have trouble finding us, look out for a big mushroom-shaped balloon! If you’re running late, just drop a message in the event chat. The weather forecast is looking promising so far, but if Saturday’s weather turns out to be really bad, we might postpone the hike until Sunday. If that happens, we’ll let everyone know in the group by Friday.

Wolf Huddle – monthly circle (live)

**Our live winter group returns** *Warmth, Support, Imagination:* *Come in from the cold!* **What**'**s a *Wolf Huddle?*** The nights are long and sun is scarce. Berlin can get pretty cold and lonely for some of us. We came up with *Wolf Huddle* in 2025 as an antidote to all that - a way to get through the long Berlin winter with some good company and a few inspiring hours each month. Men get together to relax with some supportive time, enjoy a bit of belonging and share good tips on how to take care of ourselves between the sessions. In guided group and individual activities, we explore helpful mental practices, work with our nervous systems and learn simple strategies to bring calm and connection into the darker months. We also listen to stories and chill in the good atmosphere we make together. **What we’ll do** The main thing is: We only do what we want to do! The evening is facilitated, but you can join in or hang back for each activity as you like. Each session has a chance to engage in conversation, reflection, movement, learning and optional platonic touch. You’re welcome to name your own needs, set boundaries and support others. Past evenings have involved things like basic physical contact - exploring how much can be communicated by a simple handshake, even - to breathwork, grounding, journalling, storytelling and guided imaginary journeys. **What it's for** Wolf Huddle is a chance to explore trust and community bonds in a relaxed setting. We're not *actually* a pack of wolves, after all, but you might be surprised how connecting it can be to imagine we are, for a few hours. The 'huddle' part's because we huddle up - like a group of people do together against the cold, or sometimes as a sports team - to form a spontaneous bond for those few hours we're together. Along the way you may learn to feel at ease saying 'no', release loneliness or shame, or make room for clarity, care and joy. **What it's not for** Not a cuddle event or casual hangout. You'll be in a professionally facilitated, trauma-sensitive space. Your boundaries are welcome and you decide how you spend your evening. **About the facilitator** **Hans** here from the Berlin Men’s Group. I'll be leading the group through the evening. I'm a certified systemic trauma therapist, mental trainer and touch trainer with twelve years of specialising in men's issues.
