**Join us for a scenic Sunset bushwalk exploring Gore Creek, Coal Loader, and Blues Point.** This moderately paced 2-hour hike offers stunning views with a mix of bushland, parks, and streets. **It has** **many inclines,** and **a good fitness level is essential to walk 4.5 km/h for 2+ hours**. **Here's what you need to know:** * **Start time:** 4:00 PM sharp, please arrive by 3:55 PM. Finish around 6:30 PM. * **Meeting point:** Wollstonecraft Station Park, outside Platform 2. * **Route:** Our walk starts with a bushwalk through Gore Creek, then heads to Berry Island for a quick stop to take in the views. We'll continue through bush trails towards the Coal Loader, passing Oyster Cove, then follow the Balls Head track before finishing at North Sydney Station (near Metro) via Waverton Park and Lavender Bay. Wollstonecraft to Linley Point

This walk is predominantly in Bushland with sections that provide magnificent views of Sydney Harbour. From Wollstonecraft Station, we head to Gore Cove. We will circumnavigate Greenwich via Manns Point and Greenwich Point. Crossing Gore Creek Reserve, we will pass through Northwood and Longueville to Tambourine Creek. This will lead us around to Tambourine Bay Park. From here we cross the playing fields of Saint Ignatius College and onto Burns Bay Reserve. From here it is a short walk to the bus stop with buses to St Leonard station where we will have lunch/refreshments at the Belroy Hotel. Start Location: 10:00am Wollstonecraft Station - western side Distance: 11Km Terrain: Bush tracks and sealed pathways Time: Around 3-4 hrs WHAT TO BRING. Engadine to Heathcote via Woronora River, Mirang Pool and Lake Eckersley!

**If you like bush walking on unkept trails with a little bush-bashing, you’ll love this walk!** **We will meet at outside Engadine Train Station on the west side (for those of you directionally challenged, that is on the highway side platform of the station) at 9.30am sharp. The train from Central Leaves at 8.37am and arrives at Engadine at 9.27am** **From here we will walk through Engadine and make our way to the Ferntree Pipeline Trail.** **We follow it along for a while and then start our descend into the bush towards Heathcote Road. We will need to be VERY CAREFUL crossing this busy roadway as drivers do not expect pedestrians and tend to resist slowing down when they see one (don’t ask how I know, just accept that I know).** **Once we get to the other side (less those that didn’t make it Lol!), we will follow Scouters Mountain Trail down to the creek, cross it and then follow the rough fire trail which goes through a few ups and downs (actually, mostly ups).** **When the fire trail ends (rather abruptly), we bush-bash our way down to the Woronora River.** **We have lunch here on some very shady rocks next to the river, enjoying the bush environment. We might even see an echidna or two.** **Then we reunite with the Pipeline Track and follow it to Mirang Pool and then Lake Eckersley, a very tranquil corner of the Woronora River before returning the same way and continuing to Heathcote Train Station.** **There are some lovely views along the way with a wide-ranging number of native plants (a good deal of them in flower) and some native animals (which hang around close to the trail because it is not a common one).** **We will aim to finish at Heathcote by 3.30pm, maybe even earlier, and head to The Arbour for a well-earned drink, before catching a train back to the city.** **\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*** **DISTANCE: About 15 kms.** **GRADE: Medium, with a few “up” hills.** **NOTE: No exit options along the way, unless in suburbia. 🌊 Coastal Epic: The 'Bloody Long Walk' ~20KM Leg 2 - Watson Bay - N Shore

Join us for the second leg of **coastal challenge over Eastern Beaches** \- from Watson Bay to North Shore as we take on our unofficial attempt of the scenic 'Bloody Long Walk' \(Sydney East route\)\. Originally hosted by the Mito Foundation each November\, we are tackling this spectacular coastal track our own way\. This is a demanding\, long\-distance trek requiring high fitness and endurance\, but the world\-class ocean views are worth every step\. 🚶From Chatswood station, we’ll start our exciting aadventure on a local roads towards the bushland and reserve. Then continue towards picturesque Lane Cove River.
🥪 After BYO lunch break at the picnic area, we’ll continue our adventure on a local roads towards Fairyland track.
