Great North Walk Mt Kuring Gai to Hornsby via Berowra 22km med-hard

Fantastic 22.3 km one-way trail from Hornsby to Mount Kuring-gai traverses Berowra Valley National Park and includes sections like the Blue Gum Walk and Tunks Ridge Reserve. Expect varied terrain with steep sections, particularly as you approach Mount Kuring-gai, where you'll encounter panoramic views. The route also passes by Fishponds and Berowra Creek. Be prepared for a challenging hike that requires stamina and resilience, especially during the final ascent. Fabulous bushwalk Epping to Hornsby via Lane Cove River & Berowra Creek 18km med

Fabulous walk on the edges of our city, Epping to Hornsby follows a section of the great north walk which runs from Sydney Cove to Newcastle all 250km of it! This long day walk follows the Lane Cove River and Berowra Creek. The walk mostly follows the iconic Great North Walk, keeping mostly to bushland. With a train station at each end and a chance to fill the tummy at Thornleigh, this is an enjoyable day out. Finally walk through the Blue gum forest and a big climb up to Hornsby Meet at Epping railway station Oxford Street side, walk is medium grade and 18km in length, a nice day out in the bush! Coastal Escape: Manly North Head Circuit, wormhole and beyond ~12/15 km

Join us for a stunning coastal adventure where we’ll explore the North Head Circuit and the surrounding coastline. This route offers **spectacular ocean and harbour views, WWII history at North Fort, and local wildlife**. Depending on the weather and group pace, we will also navigate the “**secret wormhole” tunnel linking Manly to Freshwater,** followed by an optional extension towards Dee Why or a return to Manly for a late lunch. It’s time to smell the roses and check out the jacarandas on this scenic walk. We start at Taronga Zoo Wharf and follow the coast past Bradleys Head, Sirius Cove, Mosman Bay, Cremorne Point and on to Neutral Bay viewing roses and jacarandas on the way. We will have lunch at The Oaks. Start location: Taronga Zoo Wharf. (Meet outside the wharf entrance.) Transport: The 9.50am F2 Taronga Zoo Ferry from Wharf 4 arrives at Taronga Zoo at 10.02am. **Forestville to Manly: Classic Bushwalk, Manly Dam, Manly Beach 15KM Medium** This excellent bush walk has the following stages: 1\. Forestville to Manly Dam: 8km\. Toilets\, and lunch stop\. 2\. Many Dam to Manly Ferry Wharf: 8km\. What more could you possibly want from a day out!!! **Distance:** 16KM **Type of Walk:** Great bush walking in the first half, including little known trails leading onto the back of Manly Dam. Parks, well-formed paths for the rest of the day. **Difficulty:** Medium. **Walking Pace:** Steady pace all day and average 4.5 km per hour. **Meeting Place + Transport:** We meet at **Chatswood Train/Bus Interchange** to catch the **160X Service Bus**, departing **Bus Stand A at 10:02AM**, through to Forestville.
