Movie & Buffet Dinner Night; VIP Private Screening of "500 DAYS IN THE WILD"
Sun, Jul 5, 5:15 AMSocial Event - Movie & Dinner Night; We have organised a VIP Private Screening of the award winning movie; "500 DAYS IN THE WILD". The 2-hour documentary weaves together adventure, personal reflections, stunning wildlife, and human connection on the rigorous and beautiful TCT Trail, stretching from the Atlantic to the Pacific Coast, as well as the Arctic Ocean. 500 Days in the Wild dives deeply into both the physical and emotional travails of tackling an almost impossible adventure. 500 Days surprises with cinematic action, intimate experiences, and visual poetry. 500 Days In The Wild follows the epic 6-year journey of filmmaker Dianne Whelan as she sets out to reconnect with nature and become the first person to travel the world's longest trail. The 24,000 km Trans Canada Trail stretches across the continent of North America, connecting the Atlantic, Arctic and Pacific oceans. It is the longest trail in the world. For six years filmmaker Dianne Whelan traveled the entirety of the land and water trails, the only person to ever accomplish this journey. 500 Days (which is 12,000 hours) in the Wild recounts Dianne's journey by bike, canoe, skis, snowshoes and on foot and her cross-cultural visits with those who live close to the land. This feature doc culled from 800 hours of footage is an intricate weave of adventure film, personal reflection and stunning captures of wildlife and landscapes. Using humour, adventure, beautiful cinematography and a great soundtrack (including songs from Joni Mitchell, First Aid Kit, Xavier Rudd, and The Tragically Hip), 500 Days in the Wild will entertain audiences and inspire hope for the future. She started out alone, disillusioned with state of the world, to look for different ways of caring for the land and for each other. She ended the journey a bit wiser, more hopeful, in love and with a passion to share this story with you. This is an unforgettable journey and an unforgettable film. It's not a question of what strategy that separates you from this level but a different way of thinking. In fact, 57% of people who start a business will not earn more than the job they left behind. Breaking free from this paradigm is the hurdle you have to confront. **During this morning session we will cover:** * Learn to use the powerful CHAOS formula whenever you find that sales opportunities slow down in your business * How you can overcome rejection from potential clients, your staff, or when pitching your business ideas, and break this limiting pattern for good * How going on “gut feel” can be a costly emotion when getting your business to work * 3 costly pitfalls most people make when their results plateau * One day I quit, then something strange happened. I learnt this one important secret from a multi-millionaire friend with over 8 businesses, and what he told me was “the one thing” that changed everything for me and I began winning again. **Who this session is for:** • Business owners, CEOs and professionals who seek a higher level • People with goals or projects that have stalled or slowed down • Anyone who wants results and control over their business Let’s face it, you're tired of constantly watching others get ahead while you stare at the wall wondering when your break will arrive then this day is for you.
