Yosemite Camping - Tuolumne Meadows Hiking n Alpine Lakes- Flexible Dates option

Camping, Hiking, and Beach play at one of the most pristine spots in the Yosemite - around Tioga Pass rd and Tuolumne meadows. Spots are limited. People can do things on their own or with the group. Limited to one more car only and any additional cars can be parked in the overflow section closeby. Please respond to all the questions when you RSVP and I'll shortlist people for lottery based on who all meet the pre-reqs. Will reach out to shortlisted people with next steps. **Your spot is confirmed only after you confirm via venmo/zelle** and there's no refund unless the trip is cancelled, so please commit accordingly. If someone can't confirm/pay within a couple of days, they will be back to No Go/WL. Sunset/Full moon hike at Marin Headlands

Hi all, Here's a last minute short hike to enjoy the sunset and the full moon rise. Sunset is at 8:21 pm and the moon rise is at 8:43 pm. So we can see the moonrise from the slacker hill if the weather cooperates...sometimes, there is fog, but the slacker hill can be above the fog making it even more beautiful. This will be about 4.5 mile [round trip] hike starting from the 'Gerbode valley trailhead' parking lot along the bunker road. We watch the full moon coming up from behind the east bay hills from the dinner spot and later walk back under the bright moonlight. The hike is a gradual climb [with last half mile steep] to the dinner spot. *** *Recommended things to bring*: * Jacket/blanket/sleeping bag/wine......anything to keep you warm and cozy. * Bring food/snack to share if you like ;) * The dinner spot is not paved, so a blanket or a tarp is recommended if you have one. I'll bring a big tarp to sit on and put food on. * Bring your headlamp/flashlight, so you don't trip and fall, though the path is mostly a wide fire road. So should be ok to walk in the dark especially under the moonlight. *** **DIRECTIONS**: We'll meet at the parking lot at 7:00pm [There is a restroom at the parking lot]. * From SF, cross the Golden Gate Bridge and exit at Alexander (the first exit past the view point turnoff). Keep right at the first fork. * After about 0.3 mile, turn left onto Bunker Road [watch for the brown park signs. There is a one-way tunnel which cuts under 101, and you may need to wait up to 5 minutes for your turn to travel through it. * From the other side of the tunnel, keep driving until you see the 'Gerbode valley trailhead parking lot' sign on the right [after you pass the horse stables on the left]. Turn right into that parking lot. Hike at Point Reyes [Limantour Beach]

Hi all, This is about 9 mile mostly easy hike [only hard part is you may have to hike a bit on the sand]....mainly hiking on the beach [about 5.7 miles on the beach] with lunch/break/nap at the end of the beach at the Limantour spit :) Good chances of seeing seals, birds and other wildlife. Weather is supposed to be warm this weekend. Hike Highlights: beach, beach, beach :) Bring enough water and lunch and something to share if u like :) Meet at the Muddy hollow parking at 11:00AM. Roaming Cayuga and Lakeview

I am very fond of this under-appreciated part of the city, and we have been roaming here for many years. On recent visits we have added [Sisterhood Gardens](https://sisterhoodgardens.org/) to the route, as they have a dahlia display probably only second to the collection in Golden Gate Park. While we are close to the freeway for much of the route, we will also be visiting some sweet lesser-known parks and viewpoints in this south west corner of the city. There will be a significant climb in the middle of the roam, and some off-roading. *Bringing water, snacks, and layers for all the microclimates is the way to go.* *These roams are offered by donation. They are one way I am able to pay my rent in San Francisco.* *Punctuality is always appreciated, for the sake of everybody's time. Once we get underway I have to focus on those who are there, and most likely won't respond.* *Generally up to half the people who sign up don't actually show up on the day. Roaming Precita and the Parks

I've always been fond of Precita Park, and now that it has a new bathroom, there is even more reason to spend time there. You may not be able to name the other four parks nearby that we can visit on a Friday roam, but we will go and investigate them, on either side of Precita Creek, which lies buried under what is currently Cesar Chavez Street. We will do a bit of climbing on this one, part way up the north side of Bernal, and we will spend some of it in earshot of the freeway, though other parts will be very peaceful. *Bringing water, snacks, and layers for all the microclimates is the way to go.* *These roams are offered by donation. An a opportunity to see the new Great Highway park. We will meet in front of the Java Cafe at the Zoo at 11am. 2650 Sloat Blvd. We will walk down to the restroom at Sloat Blvd and the Great Highway at 11:15. We will take our time exploring the park. ending the hike at the Java Beach Cafe. The Muni will take you to and from the starting and ending place. The L train to the Zoo The N train back Bring water, a snack and a Clipper card.
