The point is to throw, splash, layer, mess around, and leave with something that proves you did not spend another Saturday just running errands and replying “sorry, just seeing this.” ​No art skills needed. There is no better place to spend an autumn break than the Costa del Sol, the sunniest region of Spain. November is the ideal time to visit Andalusia. Daytime temperatures sit comfortably between 15°C and 20°C, perfect for exploring on foot, and the dense summer crowds have finally gone home. The amazing weather is just the start. What surprises most people is the dramatic landscape. The Sierra Nevada, mainland Spain’s highest mountain range, is just 45 minutes from Granada. This means we can hike at an altitude of 3,000 meters in the morning and be back in the city for tapas by evening. An hour south, the mountains plunge straight into the sea. Two hours west, the mountains break into gorges and white hill towns. Ronda is built right on the edge of one, a gorge around 100 metres deep spanned by an 18th-century bridge, and we’ll explore its old town with an optional light hike down into the gorge itself. Very few places in Europe let you experience all of this in the same week. When it comes to food, Granada is one of the last cities in Spain where every drink arrives with a complimentary plate of food, naturally turning dinner into a relaxed crawl from bar to bar. One evening, we’ll head to the Albaicín for flamenco to experience it in an authentic, intimate tablao. Woven through all of this is a history completely unlike the rest of Europe. Eight centuries of Moorish rule left behind masterpieces like the Alhambra in Granada and the Real Alcázar in Seville. These palaces are defined by open courtyards, running water channels, intricately carved plaster, and gardens designed specifically for shade and quiet. Join us in the heart of Andalusia for an unforgettable autumn escape, complete with great company, authentic paella, and exceptional wine. ⭐What are some of the Highlights? The Alhambra Grounds & the Albaicín: We walk up through the old Moorish quarter on cobbles that have not changed much in five hundred years, into the free Alhambra grounds, and on to Mirador de San Miguel Alto for sunset. The palace on one side, the Sierra Nevada behind it, and the whole of Granada below. Sierra Nevada High-Altitude Hike: Mainland Spain's highest mountain range, and a scenic loop above the tree line at over 2,500 metres. Roughly three hours at an easy pace with plenty of stops. Ronda & the Tajo Gorge: A white town built on the edge of a gorge around 100 metres deep, its two halves joined by the 18th-century Puente Nuevo. We walk the old Moorish quarter and the clifftop viewpoints. For anyone who is interested, there is an optional hike down into the gorge for the classic view of the bridge from below. The Real Alcázar & Seville Cathedral: A working royal palace built by Moorish craftsmen for Christian kings, with gardens that take an hour on their own. Next door, the largest Gothic cathedral in the world and the Giralda tower. Granada's Free Tapas: Granada is one of the last cities in Spain where a drink still comes with a plate of food, no charge. We do a guided night tapas crawl, trying out all of the specialties Andalusia has to offer. Traditional Flamenco: A first-row seat to a traditional flamenco show in a cave-style room in the Albaicín. Ultimate Frisbee in the Park - Weekend edition

Hi everyone. We'll meet and play a relaxed game of ultimate in Volkspark Rehberge if the weather cooperates. Our games focus on having great team play, where the teams work together to advance the disk down the field. It's more important to work well together as a team than have a few star players get a point with lucky shots. For this reason, players of all skill levels (especially those who have never played) are welcome to join Bring plenty of water, shoes you can run in and comfortable clothing that can get a bit dirty. Although we're an established group, newcomers are always welcome. After the game we try to spend some time together and have fun. Finding us: We meet in this big grassy area, it's a short bike ride from the subway stop Rehberge on the U6 or Amrumer Strasse on the U9. It can be a bit tricky to find the first time, so we've got a few methods to help out (don't trust the meetup map pin, it often shows some point in the park, not the exact spot where we are) 1. Schau, wie weit Du kommst. Bei den letzten Marathon-Wanderungen sind ungefähr die Hälfte ins Ziel gekommen. * Sonntag danach auf jeden Fall schonen. * Eindrucksvoll Landschaft mitten in Berlin - lass Dich überraschen. Beim letzten Mal haben wir Rehe, Hasen & Füchse gesehen. * Wir machen nur kurze Pause, damit wir im Tritt bleiben. * Die Wanderung ist eine sportliche Herausforderung, trotzdem mit reichlich schöner Natur. * Wir können mehrfach einen 30-Minuten-Silent-Walk machen, um die Natur noch intensiver wahrzunehmen. Der Weg ist unterschiedlich: natürliche Fußwege, nur wenig Asphalt, machnaml holprig, manchmal steil und manchmal sandig. **Du solltest Wandern gewohnt sein!** . **🚉 Treffpunkt:** Wir treffen uns direkt am Gleis der S-Bahn Ahrensfeld, wo die S-Bahn aus Berlin ankommt. . **🚉 Abfahrt:** Das Ziel ist der U-Bahnhof Hönow (U5). . **💧 Empfehlungen:** * Bring genug **Wasser (3 Liter)** und **reichlich** **Proviant** mit. Let’s explore Wittenberg: Elbe sunset walk, old town + coffee & cake ☕

Wittenberg is where Martin Luther sparked the Protestant Reformation in 1517, and it also happens to be one of the most charming towns along the Elbe, just 1.5 hours from Berlin by train. We’ll explore its UNESCO-listed old town: the Castle Church with the famous Theses Door, Luther’s house, painter Lucas Cranach’s courtyards and a beautiful market square. Then we’ll go for a short nature hike along the Elbe to watch the sun go down over the town’s skyline from the Elbe Bridge. In mid-November, with the last autumn colours and the early golden light, it’s the perfect time to see it! **The plan:** * **10:30** — Meet on the departure platform at Berlin Hbf, Platform 2 (sections A–D). We take the RE3 (3305) direct to Lutherstadt Wittenberg Hbf, departing Berlin Hbf at 10:41. The route is covered by the Deutschlandticket. * **12:07** — Arrival at Lutherstadt Wittenberg Hbf * **12:10–13:30** — We walk around the old town: the market square, Luther’s house, the Town Church and the Castle Church * **13:30–15:00** — Free time to explore the city, visit one of the museums or get some food * **15:00** — We meet in front of the Castle Church (Schlosskirche) and walk along the Elbe meadows to the Elbe Bridge * **\~16:15** — Sunset over Wittenberg from the Elbe Bridge 🌅 * **16:30–17:30** — We walk back to the city centre for a well-earned coffee & cake or a drink together ☕, then walk back to the station * **17:51** — We come back with the RE3 (3316) from Lutherstadt Wittenberg Hbf, arriving at Berlin Hbf at 19:17 (or you can choose what works best for you) **What to bring**: comfortable walking shoes, warm layers and a wind/rain jacket (it gets cold quickly after sunset), and cash: the 8€ meetup fee plus some extra for food, the café and any museum tickets.
