Plenty of parking there but come early to reserve your spot as sometimes it can be unpredictable. There is no phone reception in the parking lot. **DETAILS** 9.1-mile loop trail near Muir Beach, California. Generally considered a moderately challenging route, and takes \~4 hours to complete. **WHAT TO EXPECT** During the first \~2.5 miles we will ascend 850ft. For the next 3 miles we will descenFirst Tennessee Beach, then loop back and ascend 550ft over the next mile before mostly descending to Pirate's Cove. After climbing out of the cove, we will gradually climb back up to the ridge and then back down to our cars. There will be a couple of steep inclines on this trail. The hike is unshaded. Be prepared and wear layers as the forecast is for 62 degrees.
