⛲ *A refreshing summer hike through rivers, waterfalls, shady forests and natural pools in the Natural Park of Cadí-Moixeró.* **VER LA TRADUCCIÓN AL CASTELLANO + ABAJO ⤵️** 🥾 **The Plan** We’ll head to the Natural Park of Cadí-Moixeró for a refreshing hike through one of the most beautiful corners of the Berguedà: Els Empedrats. The route follows a lush forest and a mountain river, with waterfalls, clear pools and fun sections where we may cross the water from stone to stone. One of the highlights is the waterfall of Els Empedrats, where, if conditions are good, we’ll take time to cool down and swim under the cascade. We’ll also discover the curious Bullidor de la Llet, a natural spring whose water can come out with so much force that it turns white and foamy, like boiling milk. If it’s very hot, we’ll adapt the route to make the day more enjoyable: less elevation gain if needed, and more time enjoying the shady forest and the refreshing water sections. **How to sign up?** Step 1: 👋 Sign up for Meetup on the attendee list Step 2: 💰Make the payment on our website: [https://www.yepalo.com/events/waterfalls-river-crossings-natural-pools-in-els-empedrats](https://www.yepalo.com/events/waterfalls-river-crossings-natural-pools-in-els-empedrats) IMPORTANT: This is the only way to ensure a place for the activity. 🚦 **Difficulty**: Intermediate Distance: 16 Km 🔘🔘⚪⚪⚪ Total elevation gain: up to + 850 m 🔘🔘🔘⚪⚪ Technical difficulty: 🔘🔘🔘⚪⚪ This hike is suitable for people used to hiking for several hours in mountain terrain. Not recommended for complete beginners. 👥**Group size:** Maximum of 15 participants 🤠 **Guide:** Carla 🚗**How do we get there?** By shared private cars from Barcelona. During the booking process you’ll be invited to tell us if you have a car and how many people can come with you in the car. You can also meet us at the destination at 09:00 AM. Every passenger will pay 20 euros to the driver for fuel and car costs. 🎒 **Bring** * Mountain footwear * Comfortable mountain clothing * Sun protection: sunglasses, cap, sunscreen * Picnic + snacks * Water (minimum 1.5L, ideally 2L) * Walking sticks (recommended) * Waterproof jacket (just in case) * Swimsuit and towel * Extra T-shirt to change before getting back into the cars 💰**Price: €40** **🚗** Special price for the first 2 drivers: €25 *If you have a car and can take 3 people or more from the meeting point in Barcelona, choose the driver ticket.* ➕ **Price includes:** Official mountain guide Accident insurance + civil liability insurance VAT ➖ **Not included:** Transport (€20 to be paid directly to the driver) **Cancellation policy**: Change of plans? No problem! If you cancel more than 72 hours in advance, we’ll give you a 100% voucher valid for 3 months so you won’t miss out on future adventures. 🌟 Late cancellation? Oh no... in that case, full payment is required. However, if you can’t make it and we manage to fill your spot with someone else, we’ll offer you a voucher for a future activity. ✨ Extra info: If the weather's acting up, we might switch things up for your safety and maximum fun. ¡YEPALO! Wednesday Morning Blasts

Wednesday Morning Blasts

**Weekly Wednesday Morning Rides are here!!** **Where & When:** * **Location:** **Forum (Poblenou)** * **Time:** 06:30 (Now that mornings are getting lighter this sees us return for 9am latest) * **Route:** https://www.strava.com/routes/3458756381789219340 **What to Expect:** This is a fairly flat group ride with just one key climb that is neither too long or too steep. The ride is designed to be done in approx 2.5 hours for fitter riders and sees us ride as a group before either heat or traffic are a factor. We'll ride together as a group, either single-file or double-file depending on traffic conditions. Whilst we will wait at the top of climbs and other easier areas, this is not a beginner ride. Please be prepared to be dropped if you can't keep up with the pace. **Is This Ride for Me?** While this ride is open to everyone, we ask that you are comfortable riding in groups, have a road bike, and have done rides of similar distance and elevation before. We welcome all newcomers but everyone is expected to be self-sufficient, therefore please bring not only your bike but also sync the route, bring phone, cash and lights. **Safety:** Ride leaders will do their best to keep the group together, moving smoothly and safely at all times. We'll stop at red lights and obey traffic rules. Ultimate safety starts and ends with everyone riding responsibly, and everyone will be responsible for their own safety. There's no commercial interest behind this event; it's just a bunch of people sharing a fun day out. Looking forward to riding with you!
