Sonic Gong Blast-Intro to the Soundbath Experience

Sonic Gong Blast-Intro to the Soundbath Experience

Mon, Jun 29, 12:30 AM
From You Matter More Than You Think!

*Important Information for attendees!* **PLEASE READ TO THE END** No Experience Necessary Find moments of peace in a chaotic world. Moments of peace can change your life. This sound bath experience uses ancient instruments including gongs, Tibetan bells, singing bowls, seed rattles and more to achieve deep relaxation, emotional (and sometimes physical) healing, and transcendent experiences. This type of work is well suited for those who are familiar with meditation or non-ordinary mind state exploration, as well as those with no experience in these areas and are either just curious, or are looking for a way to address anxiety and find moments of peace in a chaotic world. We will spend time explaining the process and get to know each other a little. There will be plenty of time for questions and answers. Once we set our intentions and feel comfortable, light movement and breathing will follow. Then we all settle into the sound experience. After the sound portion we will have plenty of time for sharing. What to bring: * Yoga Matt to lie on. * Pillow for your head Optional: * Towel or light blanket * Anything to support comfort lying on your back * Comfortable eye covering * Ear plugs if you're sensitive to loud sounds Please, BE ON TIME 🙂 * It's ok to be fashionably late, ten or fifteen minutes, or early if you'd like to help setup and chitchat a little beforehand, but to create an uninterrupted flow and assure everyone is well prepared: * The doors will close at 6, so: * NO ENTRY AFTER 6p Sonic Gong Blast is not a mental health treatment. it is a performance experience of music and sound. Those with the following conditions are advised not to attend: * Severe anxiety, panic disorder, or OCD * Bi-polar, schizophrenia * Claustrophobia or severe phobias * Epilepsy * Any extreme sensitivity to loud sounds Facilitated by Doric George MA Since the 1980’s he has utilized transformational therapies and practices including Conscious Connected Breathing, deep tissue bodywork and Shiatsu, Touch for Health, Hatha Yoga, fitness training, Pranic Healing, Master Level Reiki and other healing arts, and has conducted countless individual and group sessions. From Pasadena Professionals' Social Group (35 plus)
4.7

Let's try the Wild Parrot; a very welcoming Pasadena brewery with wines, snacks, and high-top tables for better mingling. Come for a Friday evening of camaraderie and relaxation. Bring friends! Men, come out and meet the many lovely ladies interested in chatting. Ladies, the same goes for you! But recall: this group is primarily about friendship, not dating. We will be indoors for the high-top tables. The usual "rules" apply: Buy something _upon arrival_ and, of course, tip the waitstaff normally. Pay $3-5 to Myanna, your loyal hostess, to help pay meetup fees. Bring friends! Enjoy!

(look at the hundreds and hundreds of meetup reviews you can see here or ask AI "**what the best networking event is in Beverly Hills?**" We’ve loved building this community and keeping it free for as long as we have. As the group has grown, there are real costs involved in organizing, promoting, coordinating, staffing, and continuing to create a great experience. The ticket price helps support the continued quality and sustainability of the event. We had such a great time last month with this new format!
