Blood on the Clocktower Tournament

Blood on the Clocktower Tournament

Mon, Aug 17, 12:30 AM
From Los Angeles Werewolf Meetup Group
4.9

A recommended (but optional) $5 donation will be requested from now on to help me cover the cost of the space and meetup fees. Either through cash or:
Venmo: @BrandonF51
Zelle: 7325973400 Location: Groundfloor in Echo Park (street parking only) 160 Glendale Blvd Free coffee/tea/water/liquor are available and the space almost always has snacks. Trying to make these events more potluck style. If anyone is able to bring any food/dishes/snacks either made or purchased it would be very much appreciated. Join the Los Angeles Ultimate Werewolf Game Meetup Group for a fun-filled evening of social deduction games! And now introducing thanks to our Blood Moderator Trevor: # 🩸 Blood on the Clocktower Tournament 🩸 **Blood on the Clocktower** is a social deduction board game where players take on secret roles in a haunted village. Most players are **good**, trying to identify and execute the hidden **Demon**, while a small **evil team** works together to deceive the town and eliminate players each night. Unlike games like *Werewolf* or *Mafia*, eliminated players **stay in the game**—they can continue discussing, voting, and influencing the outcome until the very end. Every player also has a unique character with a special ability, creating endless strategy, bluffing, and unforgettable moments. We'll be running a **friendly tournament** throughout the evening: * Multiple games of Blood on the Clocktower * Points earned based on your performance each game * Live leaderboard updates * Prizes for the top finishers Whether you're a veteran or you've never played before, you're welcome! New players are encouraged to arrive a little early for a rules explanation before the first game begins. If you enjoy strategy games, deception, psychology, or trying to read people, you'll love Blood on the Clocktower. Come ready to lie, investigate, persuade... and maybe save the town.

Return of rock, blues, and country jam (near 2/210)

Return of rock, blues, and country jam (near 2/210)

Sat, Aug 8, 10:00 PM
From Acoustic/electric jams; Songwriters; Shakespeare for All
4.7

Update: Third jam since COVID. This used to be most Fridays. It’s been a while, but the drum kit is set up again. The kid moved away and took the piano, but there’s a Kurzweil keyboard and a Hammond organ with a Roland amp, and for bass players, a Fender Rumble. Still working on the PA, the arrangement of everything and everyone, etc., but we’re ready enough to start. I’ve had this goofy idea for a while to play full band style, plugged in, singing through mics, but not real loud. You can bring paper copies of songs’ chords/lyrics or send me pdfs. I like to project a large image for everyone to see, and I Ike to record sessions, too. I play lousy guitar and write weird songs, but I like taking turns with others leading tunes. Looking for other musicians, singers, songwriters who’d like to collaborate on originals and covers of Americana, Dylan, Stones, Dead, etc. Saturday, July 25 Brandon, Luc, Rick, Robert, Steve, and me https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/cha5tfhc7efc6t9tr59pi/7-25-26-jam.mp3?rlkey=7xsjelhhp4v98voecpy1hz4px&st=hwswnakw&dl=0 She belongs to me That’s what love will make you do Knocking on heavens door Can’t always get what you want Big railroad blues Can’t find my way home Wicked game All along the watchtower Sweet home Alabama Midnight rider My lucky star Dead flowers Can’t you see? Born on the bayou After midnight Swinging doors It’s all over now, Baby Blue
