Autumn Forest Walk to Kloster Chorin 🍂

Autumn Forest Walk to Kloster Chorin 🍂

Sat, Oct 24, 8:10 AM
From Travel Tribe (Nature Meet Berlin)
4.7

The Schorfheide-Chorin Biosphere Reserve, located north of Berlin, is one of the largest forest reserves in Germany. Where the beech trees thin, there are fantastically beautiful lakes, old monasteries - and the home of the sandman. Just 45 minutes by train from Berlin, right in the middle of it, lies Kloster Chorin: a 13th-century Cistercian abbey built from red brick in the gothic style. Its tall, roofless walls stand quietly between old trees and a lake, and in October the whole place glows. We will take the regional train out of Berlin together, walk to the abbey and explore it at our own pace. After a picnic lunch we head into the Kroneiche beech forest for a loop under golden and copper leaves, then stroll back to the station in the afternoon light. No rush, no pressure, just fresh air, good conversation and new faces. Many people come alone, and that is exactly the idea. Beginners are welcome. Kloster Chorin: one of the finest examples of brick gothic in Brandenburg, with the abbey church, cloister and grounds to wander through. **Book your slot on the official website:** [Book your slot here.](https://yourtraveltribe.de/events/autumn-forest-walk-to-kloster-chorin) **Meeting point:** 10:10 am – S+U Gesundbrunnen. **Hiking Level:** Easy 11 Km at relaxed pace More details will be provided in the WhatsApp group day before the trip. **Day trip price:** 15 Euro Event price includes... * Meetup and organising fee, you don't need to worry about the train ticket; we will use a Deutschland ticket, so make sure you have Deutschland ticket, or else you will need to buy it for yourself. * 7€ Entry to Kloster Chorin Monastery **What to wear or bring:** * Comfortable, waterproof hiking shoes or sturdy sneakers * Weather-appropriate clothing * Water * Snacks and a packed lunch **Cancellation:** * **Free cancellation** up to 24 hours before the event. * **No refunds** for no-shows. * **Full refund** if the event is cancelled by the organizer. **Connect with us:** Want to see what our community is all about? Berlin ArtDate Gallery Evening 23.10.2026

Berlin ArtDate Gallery Evening 23.10.2026

Fri, Oct 23, 4:00 PM
From Berlin ArtDate Gallery Evening Group

Welcome! 👋 This is a small, moderated art evening for people looking to make a real connection — romantic, friendship, or anything in between — with people who are a little tired of swiping through faces and want an actual conversation instead. Why come: You won't have to walk up to a stranger and make small talk — a trained moderator runs the evening and gives each small group one painting to actually talk about, so there's always something to say. A relaxed way to meet people who are curious, not performing. Grab your ticket now, do the fun part later: once you've got your spot, we'll send you a link to swipe 15 paintings and get your own AI-generated art profile — so you show up already a little curious about who else is in the room. How the evening works: * A welcome drink as you arrive * A short guided tour of the gallery * Small moderated groups, each centered on one painting 📍 Galerie Albrecht, Bleibtreustraße 48, 10623 Berlin (S-Bahn Savignyplatz) 📅 Friday, Oct 23, 18:00–20:00 🎫 €15 per person 🎟️ GET YOUR TICKET: [https://www.eventbrite.de/e/artdate-gallery-evening-tickets-1994506722297](https://www.eventbrite.de/e/artdate-gallery-evening-tickets-1994506722297) 🔔 Plans change? Full refund up to 7 days before the event. ❕ Limited to 20 guests — small by design, so no one gets lost in a crowd. Questions? Message the group — we answer everyone.
