**EBC comes to Berlin.** After all those Zoom conversations, online introductions, and virtual networking sessions, we're bringing the Expat Business Club community together **in person** for one special evening. Join us for a relaxed evening with international expat freelancers and online business owners in Berlin. Whether you've been running your business for years, you're getting started, or you're still figuring things out — you're welcome. ***What to expect:*** • relaxed networking • interesting conversations about business, freelancing, and life in Germany • new connections and potential collaborations • a short welcome from Birgit • plenty of time to actually talk to people • background music • a relaxed cocktail bar atmosphere • an evening that can continue naturally beyond the official start There are **no presentations, no sales pitches, and no awkward networking games.** You don't need to have an established business to join. You simply need to be interested in meeting other international professionals and building your network in Germany. ***A few things to know*** **Tuesday, October 6, 2026** **7 PM** **Berlin · Friedrichshain** We're meeting at a cocktail bar in Friedrichshain. The exact venue will be shared only with registered participants a few days before the event. The event is free to attend, but registration is required & seats are limited. Drinks are not included and are paid individually at the bar. We encourage everyone to order something during the evening and support our venue. Photos and videos will be taken during the event and may be used for Expat Business Club marketing, including social media, website, and newsletter content. If you have any questions about this, don't hesitate to get in touch with Birgit before the event. **Come for the connections. Stay for the conversations.**

TOKEN BREAK 10.000 STEPS. OFFLINE.

TOKEN BREAK 10.000 STEPS. OFFLINE.

From NoCode - Collective Club Berlin

# TOKEN BREAK **Berlin’s walk & talk for AI builders, vibe coders, and the curious. No laptops. No pitches. Just 10,000 steps and real conversation.** ## THE PROBLEM We spend more time talking to AI than talking with people about what we’re building with it. Think about your week. You’ve spent hours prompting, debugging, and shipping with AI. You may have had a longer conversation with a chatbot than with a friend. Your back is stiff. Your eyes are tired. And even while working on something genuinely exciting, it can feel strangely isolating. We built agents to save time. Then we filled the saved hours with more screen time. The AI community debates the future of work, intelligence, and human connection—often alone, hunched over a laptop. That’s the contradiction: a technology designed to empower us can easily leave us stationary and disconnected. ## THE SOLUTION Token Break changes the setting. No screens. No pitches. No decks. Just people walking through Berlin and talking about AI—face to face, in real time. We meet and walk 10,000 steps together. Along the way, we talk about what we’re building, what’s working, what isn’t, what excites us, and what worries us. We share recent discoveries, unfinished ideas, and honest opinions about what’s useful and what’s mostly hype. It’s the kind of conversation that usually gets buried in a Slack thread—except now it happens between people, in motion, without another tab open. ## WHY IT WORKS Walking side by side takes the pressure out of networking and makes honest conversations easier. Ideas move differently when your body does. After a week of talking to machines, spending 90 minutes talking with people who share the same curiosity feels refreshingly different. This isn’t anti-AI. It’s pro-human. ## JOIN THE FIRST TOKEN BREAK 📅 **29 September 2026 - 07:00 pm** 📍 **Meeting point:** [will be announced] 🚶 **10,000 steps:** Around 90 minutes 💻 **Zero laptops. Zero pitches.** 👥 **Everyone is welcome:** Builders, vibe coders, tinkerers, skeptics, and the AI-curious 💸 **Free** This is our first walk, so we’re keeping the group small. If you’re tired of talking about AI through a screen, come talk about it while walking through Berlin.-
