Deep Dive is a new series of lecture nights in Barcelona: we borrow a bar, bring in someone who really knows their subject, and let them talk about it in English. 🧠 Lecture: **"When the Self Dissolves: What Ayahuasca Does to the Brain and Body”** 🎤 Speaker: **Dr. Francisco Madrid-Gambin,** Hospital del Mar Research Institute 📍 Location: **Keanu Izakaya Bar**, Carrer de París 209, Eixample 📅 **Wednesday, 23 September,** doors open at 6:30 PM People have been drinking ayahuasca for centuries, but scientists have only recently begun to examine what happens in the brain and body during the experience. ​Francisco is one of the researchers doing this work. His research looks at changes in the blood, how the brain responds, and how the two appear to move together as the familiar sense of being “you” begins to loosen. ​He's good at explaining these things to people who aren't scientists, which is exactly the point of the night. No science background needed. Es requereix un estil casual: no es permeten xancletes, pantalons de platja ni roba de gimnàs. *** ## HORARI D'INICI 👩 Noies: **19:45 h** 👨 Nois: **20:00 h** *** # Com funciona l'esdeveniment? ### Benvinguda Els participants arriben i es registren. Els amfitrions us donaran la benvinguda. Rebràs una enganxina per escriure-hi el teu nom i enganxar-te-la al pit; això ajuda a recordar els noms. També tindràs un **bolígraf i un full** exclusiu per a tu, on podràs escriure els noms de les teves cites i els teus comentaris personals. Al full hi podrà haver el número o la lletra de la taula on hauràs de començar l'activitat. Ves a la zona d'espera indicada pels organitzadors. Al final de l'esdeveniment és **molt important** escanejar el **primer QR** del teu full per emplenar el formulari amb: * nom * número de telèfon * Instagram * correu electrònic * **els tres noms** de les persones que més t'han agradat *(És una bona idea escriure tots els noms durant les cites i, al final, ratllar-los tots excepte els 3 que més t'hagin agradat.)* En aquest formulari també pots deixar-nos els teus comentaris per ajudar-nos a millorar l'esdeveniment. Mentre esperes, pots demanar una beguda, anar al lavabo i relaxar-te a la zona indicada. Demanem a les noies que arribin **15 minuts abans** per poder asseure-les abans que arribin els nois. Generalment organitzem dos o tres grups per franges d'edat, depenent del nombre de participants. Durant les rondes, un cambrer passarà per si necessiteu demanar alguna cosa. *** ### Activitat per trencar el gel Depenent del dia, fem una activitat per trencar el gel que consisteix a respondre una sèrie de preguntes en grup. Aquestes preguntes serveixen per conèixer una mica millor les diferents persones abans de començar les rondes de speed dating. ### Inici de les rondes Cada participant té una minicita de **7 minuts** amb una altra persona. A la taula trobaràs preguntes per trencar el gel que podràs utilitzar, si vols, per començar una bona conversa. ### Rotació Quan l'amfitrió doni el senyal (campana o gong), **els nois es mouen** a la taula següent. La rotació segueix sempre l'ordre dels números o les lletres que trobaràs a les diferents taules: A, B, C, D, E, F... o 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6... Quan s'arriba a l'última lletra, es torna a la primera. El mateix s'aplica als números. Els nois disposen de 30 segons per aixecar-se, canviar de taula i prendre notes; les noies romanen assegudes. ### Pausa No hi ha una pausa general, però si vols descansar durant una ronda de 7 minuts, pots demanar a l'amfitrió saltar-te una ronda per demanar una beguda o menjar, anar al lavabo o simplement relaxar-te. ### Final de les rondes En acabar, normalment ens reunim per prendre alguna cosa. Així pots continuar parlant amb la resta de participants i prendre la teva decisió final. ### Emplenar el full Indica els noms d'un **màxim de 3 persones** que t'agradaria tornar a veure. Escaneja el **primer QR** i emplena el formulari. Podríem permetre votar més persones, però aquí realment **busquem que hi hagi una espurna de veritat**, i per això el límit és d'un màxim de 3 noms. Teniu fins **dilluns a les 18 h** per votar. ### Resultats El **dimarts al matí**, l'organitzador enviarà els **matches mutus** de manera privada mitjançant un missatge de Meetup o per correu electrònic. Si us plau, reviseu també la carpeta de correu brossa (spam). Si tens un match, rebràs la **informació de contacte** d'aquesta persona. *** # Normes importants * És fonamental que al teu perfil hi tinguis **una foto clara de tu**. Si no tens foto, et passarem a la llista d'espera. * Encara que vegis que hi ha llista d'espera, apunta-t'hi igualment: ajustem les places per mantenir **l'equilibri entre noies i nois**. * Si t'inscrius i pagues però finalment no pots venir, ens ho has de comunicar **48 hores abans de l'esdeveniment**. En cas contrari, no hi haurà reemborsament ni canvi de data. * Has de respectar les normes bàsiques de conducta i tractar tothom amb respecte i educació. L'organització es reserva el dret d'expulsar immediatament de l'esdeveniment qualsevol persona que incompleixi les normes. Si algun participant detecta un comportament sospitós o inadequat per part d'una altra persona, si us plau, que n'informi immediatament algun dels organitzadors. *** ## Per a majors de 30 anys En apuntar-te a l'esdeveniment, acceptes que pots aparèixer en fotografies que podrien ser publicades. Se requiere un estilo casual: no se permiten chanclas, pantalones de playa ni ropa de gimnasio. *** ## **HORARIO DE INICIO** 👩 Chicas: **19:45h** 👨 Chicos: **20:00h** *** # **¿Cómo funciona el evento?** ### **Bienvenida** Los participantes llegan y se registran. Los anfitriones os darán la bienvenida. Recibirás una pegatina para escribir tu nombre y pegarla en el pecho (ayuda a recordar los nombres). También tendrás un **bolígrafo y una hoja** exclusiva para ti donde escribirás los nombres de tus citas y tus comentarios personales. En la hoja podrás tener el número o letra de la mesa donde deberás iniciar el juego. Ves a la zona de espera indicada por los organizadores. Al final del evento es **muy importante** escanear el **primer QR** de tu hoja para rellenar el formulario con tu: * nombre * número de teléfono * Instagram * correo electrónico * **los tres nombres** de las personas que más te han gustado *(Es buena idea escribir todos los nombres durante las citas y al final tachar todos excepto los 3 que más te gusten.)* En ese formulario también puedes dejar tu feedback para mejorar el evento. Mientras esperas puedes pedir una bebida, ir al baño y relajarte en la zona indicada. Pedimos a las chicas que lleguen **15 minutos antes** para poder sentarlas antes de que lleguen los chicos. Generalmente organizamos dos o tres grupos por rangos de edad, dependiendo del número de participantes. Durante las rondas, un camarero pasará por si necesitáis pedir algo. *** ### **Actividad para romper el hielo** Dependiendo del día, hacemos una actividad para romper el hielo que consiste en contestar una serie de preguntas por grupos que sirven para conocer un poco más las diferentes personas antes de empezar las rondas de speed dating. ### **Inicio de rondas** Cada participante tiene una mini-cita de **7 minutos** con otra persona. Podrás encontrar preguntas para romper el hielo en la mesa que podrás usar si tu deseas para empezar una buena conversación. ### **Rotación** A la señal del anfitrión (campana o gong), **los chicos se mueven** a la siguiente mesa. La rotación es siempre siguiendo el orden de los números o letras que se encontrarán en las diferentes mesas: A,B,C,D,E,F... 1,2,3,4,5,6.... Al llegar a la última letra, se irá hacía la primera. Lo mismo aplica con los números. Los chicos se levantan 30 segundos para tomar notas; las chicas permanecen sentadas. ### **Pausa** No hay pausa general, pero si quieres descansar una ronda de 7 minutos, puedes pedir al anfitrión saltarte una ronda para pedir bebida, comida, ir al baño o relajarte en el jardín. ### **Fin de rondas** Al terminar, normalmente nos reunimos en el jardín para tomar algo. Así puedes seguir hablando y tomar tu decisión final. ### **Rellenar la hoja** Indica los nombres de **máximo 3 personas** que te gustaría volver a ver. Escanea el **primer QR** y rellena el formulario. Podríamos ampliar a más nombres pero aquí realmente **estamos buscando la chispa real**, por eso el límite es de 3 nombres máximo a votar. Tenéis hasta el lunes a las 18h para votar. ### **Resultados** El **martes por la mañana**, el organizador enviará los **matches mutuos** de forma privada por mensaje de Meetup o correo, por favor revisar la bandeja de SPAM. Si tienes un match, recibirás la **información de contacto** de esa persona. *** # **Normas importantes** * Es fundamental que en tu perfil tengas **una foto clara de ti**. Si no tienes foto, te moveremos a la lista de espera. * Aunque veas lista de espera, apúntate igualmente: ajustamos para mantener **equilibrio chicos/chicas**. * Si te inscribes y pagas pero no puedes venir, debes informarnos **48 horas antes del evento**. En caso contrario, no habrá reembolso ni cambio de fecha. * Debes respetar el código de conducta estándar y la educación con todo el mundo. La organización se reserva el derecho de expulsar del evento inmediatamente a quién esté incumpliendo las normas. Si algún participante detecta algún comportamiento sospechoso de otro, por favor, que informe en seguida a alguno de los organizadores. *** ## **Para mayores de 30 años:** Al apuntarte al evento aceptas aparecer en fotos que podrían publicarse. Podrás encontrar preguntas para romper el hielo en la mesa que podrás usar si tu deseas para empezar una buena conversación. ### **Rotación** A la señal del anfitrión (campana o gong), **los chicos se mueven** a la siguiente mesa. La rotación es siempre siguiendo el orden de los números o letras que se encontrarán en las diferentes mesas: A,B,C,D,E,F... 1,2,3,4,5,6.... Al llegar a la última letra, se irá hacía la primera. Lo mismo aplica con los números. Los chicos se levantan 30 segundos para tomar notas; las chicas permanecen sentadas. ### **Pausa** No hay pausa general, pero si quieres descansar una ronda de 7 minutos, puedes pedir al anfitrión saltarte una ronda para pedir bebida, comida, ir al baño o relajarte en el jardín. ### **Fin de rondas** Al terminar, normalmente nos reunimos en el jardín para tomar algo. 💎 Vivac Ibón de Marboré, Monte Perdido 3355m y Los Astazus 3071 m (2D/2N)

En septiembre, después de un verano activo, sobresale la alegría de habitar el cuerpo con agilidad, presencia y libertad. Os propongo ir a fliparnos por la zona más espectacular de nuestros Pirineos: Ordesa y Monte Perdido. En búsqueda de cielos limpios y cercanía hacia las estrellas, he llegado a 2612 m de altitud donde el Ibón de Marboré brilla con sus aguas turquesa entre paredes de sedimentos llenos de pliegues, fracturas y fósiles. Ahí pasaremos la noche. **Día 0. Salimos a la tarde de Barcelona** y vamos a un albergue en el valle de Pineta para descansar **Día 2. Cascada del Cinca, Balcón de Pineta e Ibón de Marboré** Empieza la fantasía. Hoy toca el camino estrella, el que nos lleva al ibón de Marboré, bajo el glaciar y las cimas del Perdido, el Cilindro y la Brecha de Tucarroya . Después de superar la prueba del Embudo (tramo vertical de zetas infinitas), llegaremos al balcón de Pineta, el ‘point of no return’. Este mirador es un portal cósmico, una flipante experiencia que te hará sentir pequeño y grande a la vez, cansado y enérgic@ al mismo tiempo. 🏰 Dormiremos vivaqueando o con tienda al lado del lago. Las opciones de ruta de tarde desde el lago son varias: Gran Astazu (3071 m) y Petit Astazu (3015 m) o el Pico de Pineta, a solo 300 m de desnivel subida y bajada de la zona de acampada. **Día 2. Ascension al Monte Perdido (3355 m) por la cara Norte** El macizo calcáreo más grande de Europa, su majestad el Perdido! Gozaremos de formaciones rocosas que desafían el orden, intentando descifrar el laberinto de pliegues y columnas de sedimentos. Tendremos una efímera sensación de volar. Digo efímera porque el contacto con la tierra se notara, y mucho. Una ascensión cómoda dejando las mochilas grandes abajo, al plano de Marboré. Bajada hasta las mochilas y el resto hasta abajo donde nos esperan loc coches. **🔗 DETALLES TÉCNICOS** 👣 DÍA 0 (Viernes, 04/09) • Viaje Barcelona - Pineta Dormimos en un albergue en el valle de Pineta 👣 DÍA 1 (Sábado, 05/09) • Valle de Pineta, Ibón de Marboré y Vivac \- Ruta lineal de 8 km \+ opcional 3 km Picos Astazus \- Desnivel de subida: 1350 m \+ opcional 480 m Picos Astazus \- Tiempo estimado con paradas: 7h30’ 👣 DÍA 3 (Domingo, 06/09) • Monte Perdido (3355 m) \- Distancia 17 km \- Subida 820 m / Bajada 2300 m \- Tiempo estimado con paradas: 8h ❗**Dificultad técnica: ALTA**. Zonas de alta montaña con pasos de trepada. Terreno con pendientes pronunciadas. Tienes que haber hecho al menos una excursión previa con este grupo para poder participar. 🧗‍♂️Ruta **NO APTA** para gente con miedo a las alturas. 🔔 La ruta puede sufrir cambios acorde con las condiciones meteorológicas y estado del terreno (nieve, ríos con mucho caudal, etc). 📣Aviso: en caso de baja de ultima hora (menos de una semana) la persona que se dé de baja tendrá que pagar el importe de la excursión y del transporte (si no va en su propio coche). En caso contrario, no podrá realizar futuras salidas con este grupo.
