[Trivia] Dinner and Food and Restaurant Trivia

Location and time TBD, currently working with a location. They have a full menu, a newly opened restaurant space, I had a date and time selected, but it conflicted with another organizer's event.. Currently looking at Friday or Saturday at 7p Trivia will contain Cooking, Local Restaurants, Local Bars and some other Food related questions. I'll have more information about date and location.

Mission 5k fun run! | TBD

We host a weekly 5km run every Monday evening, starting and ending at a \*bar in or near the Mission District. We keep a moderate pace so no one runs alone – it's a fun run, not all-out. It is, however, recommended that you are able to run around 3 miles (5Km) consistently but if that's an issue, bring a buddy along or shorten the route to your liking. Join for a drink/snack/chat after the run -- we love to meet our neighbors!

Come and join me to watch a theater play Repossessed by Greg Lam (a Bay Area Playwright), directed by Gabriel A. Ross. The story revolves around a couple that have utilized an advanced technology ("LIFE ENHANCED") to implant skills, knowledge, and memories into their brains. However, they also chose to forego the knowledge that they had done this. So, to them, their memories and knowledge seem genuine. What if you could purchase new skills, make yourself more charming, be more compatible with your spouse, get better at math, or maybe just improve your golf score - on the installment plan! "Repossessed" revolves around a couple that have contracted with a corporation ("LIFE ENHANCED") to implant skills, knowledge, and memories into their brains, and delete the knowledge of the implantation, so it seems "natural". All is well and good until they fall behind on payments! You MUST purchase a ticket and they have a $15.00 Limited/Early Bird Special (limited availability) The performance is about 2 hours long including a short intermission. Unfortunately, LaVal's Subterranean Theatre is not wheelchair accessible, access for patrons involves a flight of stairs. We're trying to bring an old Edwards sputtering machine back to life! Everyone has varying levels of experience with vacuum and deposition technologies from decades of work in industry to "I just read the wikipedia article and sputtering sounds neat" Come hang out and help us get to first plasma and then hopefully full sputtering soon after!
