On Location Photo, Video and Editing Workshop

Sun, Jul 26, 6:00 PM
From Los Angeles Photography Workshops

**Workshop Description** To really hone our skills, we have to get out of the classroom and shoot real situations. While there are a lot of classes, there are few opportunities to take theory out of the classroom and see how they work in real-world contexts. These workshops are designed to solve this exact problem. Each class will give students practical, hands-on experiences that can't be covered in the classroom. Also, each class will be limited to 5 students to ensure adequate instruction. Each class will take place at a unique Los Angeles location where we will shoot interiors as well as exteriors. These workshops are also a great opportunity to build a portolio. In these classes: \- Students can shoot photo or video\, or both \- We start with going over appropriate camera settings \- Then\, we'll scout the property to develop a shooting plan \- determine what needs to be shot\, what the shooting challenges might be\, how to handle various lighting conditions\, and what's the best order for shooting \- Afterwards\, we'll shoot the property with guidance at each step in the process \- Once done\, we'll sit and edit the day's work for an hour \- Total class time \- 3\.0 \- 3\.5 hours \(2 hours shooting\, 1 hour editing\. If editing is at a different location\, add 1/2 travel time\)\. \- What to bring \- Camera\, medium range lens \(24\-70mm\)\, wide angle lens\, stabilizer if shooting video\, laptop for editing\. Locations will likely not allow tripods\, so shooting will be handheld\. **Workshop Price - $90** \- Please contact to process payment **Additional Notes and Policies** \- Class size limited to 5 \- Please contact for exact location\, note location is subject to change \- Payment can be made directly via Zelle prior to workshop date \- Organizer reserves the right to cancel or reschedule as conditions require\. \- Attendees waive liability for any and all injuries or damages that may occur during the class \- Cancellations require 7\-day advance notice\. Any fees or location entrance fees paid are non\-refundable\.

💸 Let’s Learn How to Short Stocks

💸 Let’s Learn How to Short Stocks

Sun, Aug 2, 9:00 PM
From SoCal 20s, 30s and 40s Social Club
4.8

📅 **Date:** Sunday, August 2, 2026 ⏰ **Time:** 2:00 p.m.–5:30 p.m. 📍 **Location:** Euclid Coffee 🏢 **Address:** 9038 Garvey Avenue, Suite 101, Rosemead, CA 91770 👥 **Age Range:** 20s to 30s (born between 1977 and 2006) 💵 **Cost:** Free 🎲 **Experience Level:** Beginners are welcome—the rules will be taught 📦 **Supplies:** The host will provide the games and everything needed to play Have you ever bought a stock and watched it drop immediately afterward? Suddenly, it is no longer a bad trade—it is a “long-term investment,” and you are now holding the bag while patiently waiting for the market to recognize your brilliance. Join us for an afternoon of **Cashflow 101 and Cashflow 202**, where we will explore financial concepts through gameplay, including cash flow, assets, liabilities, real estate opportunities, changing markets, and short selling. No previous experience is required, and the rules will be explained as we play. Cashflow 101 introduces the fundamentals of managing income and expenses, building passive income, investing in assets, and escaping the rat race. Cashflow 202 adds more advanced situations involving changing markets, short selling, and larger financial opportunities. The games may also introduce different ways real estate deals can be structured and how those decisions affect cash flow. The best part is that every questionable decision uses imaginary money. You can buy at the top, panic-sell at the bottom, short the wrong stock, overpay for a property, or confidently insist that your collapsing investment is “about to recover” without harming your real bank account. The host will provide the games and all necessary supplies. Just bring yourself, grab a coffee or snack, and get ready to learn, laugh, and find out whether you can escape the rat race before the event ends. **Come for the coffee, learn how short selling works, and discover whether you are a financial strategist—or simply a very confident bag holder.** *This is a casual board-game event for education and entertainment only. Nothing discussed during the game should be considered financial, investment, tax, legal, or real estate advice.* **Venue requirement:** Every participant must purchase at least one item from Euclid Coffee during the event.
